I've always been able to get jobs by writing my own resumes, but I thought getting it done by professionals would help my chances. I got zero response using the resume and cover letter they wrote for me. After a few weeks I rewrote what they did, and suddenly I started getting responses again. So the end result is that I paid them $250 to make my efforts for weeks useless.

I would recommend either writing your resume on your own or finding someone who will charge a reasonable amount to put a basic one together for you and then modify it to fit your needs. That's what I'll be doing in future.

I had high hopes for a great finished product after reading several online reviews. What I recieved was nothing short of a mish mash word-salad that literally didn't make any sense. It was clear m assigned "writer" was a college student or something - albeit, possessing an obvious vocabulary, but just without any comprehension of how his chosen words should be used and fit together in a sentence structure. It would have almost been comical to read, had I not spent the few hundred dollars on this anticipated professional service. The other disappointing thing was the fact my repeated complaints seemed to fall on deaf ears and had to persist on a full refund after the company failed to show any hope of providing the service I had expected... this full refund was denied and I was in the end, duped for a quality service I never recieved yet paid for. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING TOP RESUME IF YOURE A CAREER PROFESSIONAL IN NEED OF SPRUCING UP AND /OR UPDATING YOUR EXISTING RESUME. THEY'LL RUIN IT AND YOULL PRETTY MUCH HAVE TO RE-WRITE IT YOURSELF.

I had applied to over 300 jobs and had only 2-3 interviews. Once I received my new TopResume I applied to 25 jobs and got 4 interviews. The difference is night and day. If you want to at least get the chance to talk to hiring managers/recruiters definitely get your resume done by TopResume.

Avoid this scam of a company. They outsource all of their writers, support teams, and services from different countries. They'll take your resume, throw it into a chatbot or some AI software, and call it a day—you'll end up with a generic, robotic, and essentially useless resume. I don't think I even spoke with a single person who lived in the US, which is an issue because if I'm recruiting for jobs in the US I think it is necessary for a writer who has experience in the US. This company just cares about its bottom line. Stay far far far away.

After uploading my resume and going through the questionnaire process, I got back a version that didn't even include my real estate experience. Im looking for real estate jobs and noted this as well as sent a follow up email. The quality of the resume was also sub-par. Their "professional" writers did a worse job than the original resume I provided. I immediately knew this wasn't going to workout and requested a refund of the whopping $220 they charged. I was supposed to get a response within a couple days. After almost a week I reached out again for an update on my refund. After another couple days, they "regret to inform" me my request was denied. I highly recommend using a different company if you are even close to needing a professional resume. Their writers may be high schoolers and their customer service is garbage. -10 out of 10. I'll be taking this up with my credit card company as well.
