In my 20 year career I have never once had anyone write my resume, I have never needed to because I always was lucky enough to get a job on my own. But here recently I went back into the job market and didn't get the traction or calls I normally get when posting on the job boards. I even had a recruiter slightly edit my resume once before my submitting my resume to a client. This was my calling card to call a pro. My free evaluation was spot on and valuable information. The process was super easy. I sent my resume, answered a couple of questions, provided a couple of posts and I was done. I didn't think there was anything that could really be done with my resume, but the one I got back was much more consumable and concise. The coverletter said all the things I couldn't bring myself to think up LOL.

AFTER a complaint - the company proved true to their word. Provided an exceptional agent who delivered a 100% great product for my use.

I was struggling with writing my resume for entering a new profession that I want.
But I have found no luck. Although I have yet to receive any official interview from any employer (because I am attending to school so job hunting process slows down for me). But I am glad to see how my resume were reworded and make me feel more confident on how to word my past working experience in a better way.
I was emailed about twice per day by this company until I finally caved and paid for a resume rewrite. I was told that they would guarantee my resume would pass through the automatic scanners that many businesses use. And that I would get many more interviews. I was promised all sorts of great changes to my resume. What I got was a mediocre rewrite in which they basically reformatted it in an uninspiring manner and took out a lot of information. The writer was defensive and rather snarky when I sent my comments to her after the first version. She did the rewrite and didn't seem to put much effort into it. Her attitude was "I am the resume expert and I know what I am doing and you don't". I have been using it for several weeks with zero positive results. I would like my money back but all they promise is a rewrite. I don't think that would really change the outcome, which is that this resume is not better than what I was using.
I really liked the finished product. It improved the presentation of my experience and skills. Hopefully this will turn in offers.
I had started my job search with a resume I had created 10 years earlier. I wasn't getting many responses back to my applications. So I tried TopResume's writing service. It was a quick process and my assigned resume writer was prompt in drafts and corrections and answers to my questions. I haven't had a change to use the updated materials yet so I can't quite give it 5 stars but the process was extremely easy and I feel I have a resume that will make me stand out much more than my previous version.
Helped me prepare an alternate CV which improves chances of getting past the machine checking done by recruiters. Time will be the test of how effective the new version is.

While I was ultimately happy with my resume and cover letter that TopResume writer Giacomo worked on with me, what pushed this from 4 stars to 5 was the customer service. Though I had submitted my resume in the third week of the month - and received a reply by the beginning of the fourth week - I didn't see the *email* of that reply until my seven days were almost up (Shakes fist at my personal spam filters!). I was a little distressed that I wouldn't get my full time due to my own error, but I got a hold of Giacomo very quickly, and was informed that he could give me a few extra days; and within two days of back and forth emails, I had a professional quality resume and cover letter.
