TopResume's "Industry Experts" are the young kids out of school who cannot find job anywhere else. They are given templates to create the "professional" resume. People who do critiques have to analyze 100+ resumes in on hour with little or no breaks in between. Save your money and save the kids.

I requested that I recieve my resume sooner. It gave me the options to receive in 48-hours. I received first draft in 3 days, submitted revisions and didnt hear back for a week after sending multiple emails. On top of that the revision that the initial person sent me on what I should change weren't adhered to so it was a total hypocrisy. The 2nd draft is nothing sharp or intense honestly looks like a highs school student wrote it and its 2 full pages? I am not sure about any other experienced recruitment/staffing poeple but as a recruiter in the past i would never look at a second page? Yeh... and to boot customer sercice just kept asking over and over again what the problem was... i had to explain myself so many times. Complete waste of money! Don't get the expedite, it will probably take you longer.

I have been trying to update my resume on my own for about 5 years. I felt like I could never get it right. Recently, I heard about this company but I was a little skeptical paying for an on line service before actually seeing the product or at least a sample of what to expect. I must say the name speaks for itself Top Resume. I 'm so pleased with the outcome and the process was simple and painless. I plan on purchasing the cover letter as well.

My experience with top resume was not good. My final resume and the cover letter had an abundance of spelling mistakes, and a lot of the sentences made no sense. Top Resume told me a writer with experience in my field would help me. My writer clearly had no knowledge about my field. After spending over $200 I still had to spend hours correcting mistakes and clearing up sentences. The format was good, but I could have done that myself. They have a no refund policy and I would like to get my money back. I've sent my resume to 3 colleagues in my industry and all 3 of them told me the way some of this sentences are written make me look like I don't know what I'm doing. It seems like my writer restructured my words but added no quality to my resume.
All in all I'm very disappointed with my resume and wish I had spent the $200 on food or rent.

The two resumes I received from TopResume have resulted in zero interviews. They cut out ALL my technical experience saying it wasn't necessary. But I'm in IT... The first writer assigned to me new absolutely zero about my field. She actually falsified experience I don't have while removing what I do have. The second writer did a better job but he still didn't seem to know a lot about my field and the end result shows that.

On 7/3 I went back to using my old resume, the one TopResume said was awful. I submitted five applications that day. As of this morning, 7/6, I have completed one interview and have three more scheduled. That's 4 out of 5 when TopResume netted me 0/74. Don't waste your money!

I had a great experience working with Dominique from Top Resume! She promptly responded to my resume and cover letter purchase faster than what the website estimated. This was awesome because I was waiting on an improved resume in order to be able to move forward with job applications. After the first draft I had a ton of questions about pieces of the resume and cover letter. Dominique wrote me a very thorough email response answering ALL of my questions. The second draft was perfect and I was so impressed with how much more representative my resume was of my work in HR than before. I have used Top Resume in the past and I highly recommend them.
