This service is not suitable for someone at more senior levels. The final output for the cv was poorly written, generic with little customization and the generic cover letter they provide is almost completely unusable. The LinkedIn profile rework is merely them giving you the cv on a template and thy tell you to change your LinkedIn profile to match it. There is appears to be little to no work done to analyse your career and profile with much of your original cv just being reused with some changed words. Certainly not a premium service or worth the price tag.

Though I had a very good resume that got myself in many doors TopResume really polished the appearance of the presentation. I was very impressed with the difference in results once I submitted the new resume. The positions I was getting interviews for where at least 20% higher in salary, and much more appropriate for my skill level. I also was able to weed out the positions that were not to the level I was seeking but on paper may have been, through HR managers seeing the true depth of my experience. Often it resulted in them wishing to submit me for upcoming director or executive roles.

I would not hesitate using TopResume again or Recommending them regardless of your current resume.

I am currently a Director in Student Services in higher education but wanted to go a different direction with my job search. I worked with Sara W., she was fantastic. Communication was spot on and was able to get my resume geared to the direction I wanted to go, out of higher education. She asked questions and was able to decipher what I was saying with out me having to go in to long dissertations.
I have my 3 adult kids ready to submit their resumes for a upgrade to help them get the interviews they are looking for.
I recommend this services as it cut my time way down on working on this and feel the cost is worth my time.

The writer, Jane H did not maintain contact with me, was very slow to provide the first draft, did not make all of the revisions discussed on the call that I was charged extra for, and provided the incomplete "final" draft at 11:50pm on the final day of the revision period. This is unprofessional work that was haphazardly done at the last moment, without the promised revisions. I even specifically pointed out that she used a font that was not present on my computer, so Word couldn't display some characters. She told me that she would change the font, but did not.

I also read a lot of reviews before purchasing the service and I'd like to do my part in keeping people away! TopResume critiqued my resume for free. Upon reading the review, I agreed with the problems' or areas of improvement and decided to purchase the $147 service to improve my resume.

The turn around time was really long (over a week to assign a writer and another week for first draft) with no option of expedited service. Upon emailing and complaining about not receiving my resume, the writer finally replied with a huge mess of a first draft.
The formatting was inconsistent (some places are in italics, other areas belonging to the same category are not. The English was clunky! The BIGGEST ISSUE is that the problems' from the review are not addressed at all!. The writer didn't change any of my content. In addition, the writer omitted skills and experiences that are important mark my professional milestones. The resume was A NIGHTMARE: UNUSABLE AND WORSE THAN MY ORIGINAL FOR SURE!

I emailed my writer addressing my comments and the writer NEVER REPLIED!
I'm sure some people might have had okay experiences but all that praising is impossible. The administrative office is not existent and the physical address is fake! I'm sure some comments are paid comments.

I am on the academic job market and used TopResume to revise my CV. They could not have done a worse job. The first version came back with countless errors and in the wrong format. I had to send them a link so that they would reformat my CV correctly. The second version was even worse than the first: besides leaving out critical information, random words and phrases (e.g. "RITE AID" and "DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE") were inserted throughout. I had to spend over seven hours of my own time and effort reformatting my resume. When I reached out to TopResume's "customer service" their response was that they are a "fully collaborative service" and that they would be happy to match me with another resume specialist. They continue to ignore my requests for a refund (I paid $199). Do yourself a favor and use another company. I used TopResume because they were recommended by an academic career website, but they clearly do NOT know what they are doing and are a scam. STAY AWAY!

I cannot believe how easy it seems to be to ignore people in this day and age. Thanks for the horrible follow up. I was ready to go credit card in hand, I just had 4 questions and needed to speak to someone, I let her know that and that time was of essence and snail responses are what I got. You just confirmed what I've known. Customer service and follow through are dead. I have contacted someone else appt scheduled and all done via email in a 1 hour period, faith restored. Good luck to you, it's clear to me that we don't come first and this is certainly not how I want to start a business relationship.

The service I received from TopResume was both timely and awesome. They rewrote my Resume and Cover Letter in line with world-class professional standard. Whenever I emailed them regarding any pertinent query, my writer responded within 1 or 2 day(s) with a clear answer.

I had completely rewritten my LinkedIn profile according to the TopResume guideline. Now, my LinkedIn profile stands strong out of the crowd and I receive 5x more profile views than the past.

Please feel free to avail yourself of the TopResume service. I think the money you will spend is worth the service you will get. Moreover, the long-term career return far outweighs the US$150, I think.

I fed all the information to the writer and what came back looked like my 2nd grader wrote it with a crayon. Misspelled words, incomplete sentences, didn't make sense, and completely undersold my accomplishments. The writer sent a draft back and gave me 7 days to make edits / comments and return. I did in 4 days and haven't heard or seen anything in over 2 weeks. Not one email, phone call, text, etc. nothing! I wrote back to get my money back and said it was non-refundable but offered another service like resume posting which I not so politely declined because it was horrible and didn't trust them at all. I would give them negative stars if it was an option.
