I did not receive my package from top patter. After being marked delivered and still not having received it, Tophatter has policy that kind of resembles... sorry about your luck it's your problem, not ours!
Things move so quickly and there are so many cute things for stocking stuffers and other items. I have a certain limit for bids knowing the item will likely show up again. Fast and fun.

I love shopping on tophatter! I recieved so many compliments on the merchandise I got on tophatter. I even had a number of people download the tophatter app.
For the most I am very satisfied. However, there are the things that aren't quite what I would expect. They fall short of expectation. Let the buyer beware.

Over all I am pleased with the products. Shipping could be quicker, but does fall into the time frame quoted. Two items I should have returned, but I failed to do this in a timely manner.(within 30 days). My fault there.one item was magnifying goggles, which do not function as promised.not really expensive-my fault. Another item not getting my satisfaction was a micro video recorder. Either I didn't read the description properly, or it wasn't advertised in full by the manufacturer.the size is small, but my dissatisfaction lies with the need to purchase a memory chip. Instructions didn't tell me specifics. I figured it out, at an additional cost of $15.00. I will shop there again, but need to be sure the items received are as advertised. Tophatter is not at fault as much as the manufacturer or supplier.So in closing, about 15 items received, only 2 not up to par. Pretty good record really, just not perfect. Yours --Kevin Huck

Most items are cheap junk, a lot of items come up missing, quality items won never show up but get refunded and see them up for bid still. Tracking the packages are sometimes impossible. I even contacted USPS and I was informed that the tracking numbers given were not even valid! This site needs to be shut down ASAP! There are a lot of people falling for this site and it's a shame that most won't see whats going on!... BUYERS BEWARE!

The only problems I have are the discrepancies between Asian clothing sizes and American sizes and the long span between ordering and receiving the products ordered.

Tophatter has great prices and you can get some nice items, but some are not as described, way too small ( sizing is Asian sizing), and a lot of items take a long time to ship ( coming from China). I think Tophatter could be improved upon. Since this is advertised on Facebook, I think clothes need to be sold in US sizes ( Most Americans have larger frames than Asians and even going up a size or two doesn't help- our torsos, arms, and legs are longer). The quality needs to improve on items and they need to look like the pictures. Another thing, something needs to be done about the long shipments. A lot of times people bid on things they would like to gift within 2-3 weeks. Some will say « Return the items you're not happy with ». It's not worth paying shipping fees back to another country. It's too costly. That is money that has basically been thrown away. I will not purchase again until some changes are made.

You bid on junk from 3rd party sellers on the other side of the world after you win then is the waiting game if the seller likes your bid he will ship your item 10 to 14 days and tracking is horrible if the seller dont like your bid he will wait the 14 days and not ship so it will take a month before you see your refund and tophatter customer service is like not having anyone to help your at there mercy I'm waiting for my last orders to arrive to shut down my account I have been with tophatter for years and it's always the same thing... Dont waist your time and money stay away from the headache

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
