I quit using tophatter for a while, since I came back I have found that there items are as good as they use to be. Jewerly was better didn't have to wait for an item for them to say they refunding it being shipped decided not to ship, payed for second item and most of the time don't even get the second item offered and pay for. I love bidding and shopping with Tophatter. I did 90% of my Christmas shopping this year with Tophatter. I do not like the fact that I can not talk with a live person (customer service). Most of my items has been just as described, it depends on who the seller is. Some sellers has poor quality items and long delivery time so that is why I try to bid ahead of time. But, some sellers has quality items. I think Tophatter should have a limit on the delivery from the seller and then immediately refund my money, NOT credit my account, give me my money back immediately.

Satisifed with everything i have received. The lights are great. But 2 items i never received. They claim they were delivered but they were not received at my address. Perhaps the mail person put in another box and the items were kept by whoever got them. Totally disappointed i did not get the night vision scope. Very bad karma for whoever got these items and kept them.

I wrote a detailed review. I was trying to really give you some good feed back but it said it couldn't be processed and it took like 30 minutes to write. That was frustrating so I'm not writing a long review this time. This will be quicker and to the point.
Delivery times should be on time. Clothing items should all say runs 2 sizes too small. Items should be described in inches not centimeters. When items are of poor quality and made cheao they shouldn't be sold. Do not mislead by saying some clothing is thick when its actually thin.
Great job on refunding my money on a shirt that barely fit over my head. Packaging is of great quality. Your rings are a 5 star. Please make a cart available to put my items in so i only would have one transaction on my credit card. My bank only allows 12 transactions per day. You would of gotten more business from me if a cart was available. Also, I couldn't use my card for the rest of the day to make any other purchases because I hit 12 purchases at Tophatter.

All in all what I received I'm happy with! My husband also ordered, he order way more than me! His items weren't quit the same. Or they were junk. I ordered an original Nintendo and some makeup. Makeup was like kids makeup. The Nintendo was legit!

I've ordered a few items. I'm pleased with the quality. My only problem is the excessive shipping delays. I have items that stated I should have received them and I'm still waiting for even an update. If they weren't Christmas gifts I wouldn't mind the delays. Other than that, I'm pleased.

I have been using Tophatter for a year now and I love it. Only 1 of over a dozen transactions did I have an issue and that was because the picture and ad was for multiple color socks and everyone who reviewed got black & beige. Half of my Christmas has come from Tophatter.

You have to wait months for your items if you get them at all and you don't always get your refund you get credits you can't contact anyone about late or non shipped items

Most of the thing r great but the tracking your package is a little weird. You really need to read the description before bidding. The sizes are not what the say. A 5x is like a 1x.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.

Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
