Top hatter auction site I like very much what I don't like I order only rings and 30% of the items that I received the sizes are wrong. And if II want a refund it cost me more to ship it back then what was spent on the item because they come from China. I guess I should learn my lesson. That is not right. I feel top hatter should do more on these types hours than just letting them continue to do it
I have visited many online auction sites, but Tophatter rules them all. All of the products I have purchased or won have been of the best quality. The shipping is always fast and reasonably priced.

In my opinion, I have to wonder but as I stated in my headline, the jury is still out. I ordered items. One I received quickly, the other two I have been waiting. These are the items coming from China. Now, from my experience so far, China does have some reputable suppliers. Wish, for example is all China suppliers. I have received an item in a matter of days from the time ordered to delivery. The tracking confirmed the shipping from China. An item I bought on Tophatter, from China, one week prior has seemed to have dropped off the face of the earth. Who's to say? The item I did receive from tophatter was not shipped from China and was received in a matter of days.

I Previously Wrote a review about sellers that gave me the tracking # of other customers orders because my bid was too low for them, then when the package was delivered it would look like my order was delivered when it was not! Top Hatter always refunded me. But I did not get what I won! I was going to write a review exposing the Names of the Bad sellers, BUT I have noticed that shipping issues have greatly improved! Most of the bad sellers are gone. And there are a lot more U.S. sellers now. Their Items are shipped real fast, I wish They could show on the ad that they are U.S. sellers so I could expect my Item sooner. But their are some really good China sellers also that I have come to really like. I have Won so many really great items That my wife and I really enjoy. So Thank You Top Hatter! If you have a dispute for a item not received and it is closed incorrectly (no refund for item delivered to wrong address), please contact our customer support team. The system sometimes will close a case prematurely because it reads the Delivered status and not location, as it should. By contacting support, tracking can be reviewed and a refund processed immediately.

I ordered 5 items during the period of March-May 2017. I am still awaiting my orders. Lately I tried to log into my account, and all of a sudden I must reset my password. I keep on getting the message the a new password has been send to me, but I never receive the password on my e-mail. I need urgent intervention.

These people are liars and thieves they should be closed down. The item worth $1 and they charge you 10 shipping. Or they tell you the item used to be sold for $200 you can find it on eBay for $10. They send you damaged items and they always find away to avoid return. They send you different color or different size of item you purchased

I won a quad copter that advertised for 1,858... wouldn't pay more then 20.00 bucks for this piece of crap... also still waiting for an idea that I won March 18th it's now May 13... Tracking stoped tracking the idea in China March 22... contacted customer service and all they had to say was it's on its way... BE Aware of this site...

I reviewed your order for the quad copter and see that a request to return was opened about 1 month ago, with the decision that the seller pays return shipping. When you requested the return, a separate email was sent to you that included the pre-paid return shipping label, the seller's return address and instructions for packing your item.
Unfortunately, the pre-paid return shipping label wasn't used within the provided 7-day time-frame and it has expired. However, you can still receive a full refund of the amount paid by returning your item to the seller with a valid tracking number. Return shipping cost will be at the buyer's expense.
Be sure to send the item back in the mail with a valid tracking number within 7 days of this response and then contact us with the tracking number for your return. A full refund will be issued within 5 business days of delivery once the seller receives your item and verifies it is in the original condition.
In regards to order # 23938321 purchased March 18,2017; a full refund has been processed. You will see your funds return to your banking source within 3-5 business days. If you have questions regarding your refund, please contact your card issuing bank for details.

I think it is extremely unfair that a shipper sends me wrong item, but then wants me to pay $70.00 to return to China(because you need a tracking number). They refunded me $9.00. I would expect they would send me for free the item I actually ordered. I believe this shipper is scamming people by sending a ugly version of what I ordered

I'm very sorry to hear you received an incorrect item. When the buyer and seller are located in different countries, we are unable to provide free return shipping labels for these cross-border transactions. In these cases, buyers may receive a store credit to offset some of the cost of returning the item at their own expense. This is the case for this order. You received a $11 credit to offset some of the return shipping cost. This credit has already been applied to a new purchase.
Once a return tracking number is added to your return request and tracking shows the item has been delivered to the seller, a full refund in the amount of $30 will be processed.
Unfortunately, we don't support the replacement of items, partial shipment of missing or damaged parts, or return of items for exchange at this time.

I used to buy on a regular basis from this site. Sure some of there stuff is cheap, but you are buying at your own risk. I ordered something that was supposed to come in a 6 pack, only got 3 and Tophatter made things right by issuing a refund. I had never had a problem with them in the past and for that reason, I remained a customer willing to refer their site on to others. Until recently, when the last item I ordered arrived after 32 days of being ordered since it came from China and since it was plastic and poorly packaged it came broken. I contacted support about a return and I was instructed to return the item at MY EXPENSE and within 7 days in order to receive a refund. I'm sorry I did not break the item and if it took 32 days to get to me how am I supposed to get it back to them within 7? I am not opposed to returning it, but I am not paying to do so. End of story, they have now lost a customer. I can buy the same stuff on WISH.COM for less and the shipping is much less too.

Unfortunately, without a tracking number indicating a return of this item to the seller, we have no way to prove to the seller the item was returned and we can not require them to issue a refund.

Wow, all I can say is this site is for people who have no idea that everything that is auctioned is over priced and if you go search for the products on Wish you will find most items(including exactly the same watches, clothes and jewellery) for prices ranging from $2 to $10) with a usual shipping cost of $3 to anywhere in the world. Their "market value" on Top hatter is a lie also. Most if not all of their market value is actually really between $2 and $10 but they come up with ridiculous so called market values of between $300 and $1300. I bought a smart watch on Top hatter and finding it was not to my liking and also way cheaper when searched for on Wish, I returned it. They gave me a USA address to return it to but it's sender lived in Australia and if I did not claim it from the post office it would have been sent back to that Australian address. I live in Australia so it would have been much cheaper to send it to back to the same state that I live in. I thinks this site is making a huge profit off people with addictive personalities who live on the thrill of an auction.

Many sellers use drop shipping for their merchandise. Drop shipping is when items are shipped by the seller directly from their supplier. Suppliers can be located in a different country than the seller of the item. When returning a item, the item must be returned to the sellers shipping address that provided in your return request.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
