Nothing actually works ripoff site have had 5 items not operate all too hard to resolve any issues take a very long time to deliver
Better then the other sites and you win more often. Easy to deal with. Fun to bid on items. You have to read the item description carefully.
My orders have been cancelled time & time again. I called my bank to check on my credit card & they had flagged it for suspicious vendors. Now tophatters has blocked me from buying anything. I even had a computer analysis done to see if I had a problem with my computer, nothing that would have caused my orders to be cancelled.
I love shopping. And at tophatter you can get what you want at one place. I can always find everything I need. Love the jewerly. Sometimes it takes a little time to get here, but it makes it. If you want to have fun shopping, go to tophatters. TY.

I successfully bid on three items. After the first winning bid, I received a message that the purchase was CANCELLED (by TopHatter, not me). This CANCELLATION was followed by two more successful bids, which were subsequently CANCELLED by TopHatter. As a result of "excessive cancellations", I was locked out for 24 hours. After the 24-hours, not my fault, I bid on another item, and WON. Again, it was CANCELLED, by TopHatter, and I was again locked out for another 24-hours. The CSR informed me that she had no ability, at her end, to override the CANCELLATIONS which were done by TopHatter. It was suggested that I try another method of payment, such as PayPal. This is ludicrous since I have had 27 prior successful transactions since May 9,2017, all without any problem.

I purchased an item in January and it was said to be delivered in February. I have contacted customer service regarding this item not being delivered. They gave me a tracking number - which, I had obviously checked on prior to contacting them. The USPS site said the status was unavailable due to an incorrect tracking number or status not updated as of yet. Granted, it was only a $34 product - but it was STILL $34 and I did not receive it! I get items delivered to my house several times a week from Amazon and have never had issues with getting a package delivered. If you want to receive what you paid for, do not go through this company.

I reviewed the details of your order #21462556 from January and have found that the tracking is invalid and conclude the item was not delivered to your location. Because of this, a full refund has been processed back to your payment source (PayPal). You should see your funds returned to your account within 5 business days.
For this terrible inconvenience, I have also applied a $10 store credit to your Tophatter account. The credit will expire in 2 weeks giving ample time to be used towards an order. Your credit will automatically apply to your first purchase of $11 or more.
Again, my sincere apologies for this mix-up. I hope you decide to give Tophatter another try!

I have contacted TH multiple times to ask why I was being, not only cancelled, but suspended for too many cancellations, even though it had NOTHING to do with me or my credit cards. Plus, if something is cancelled, why is there a "refund" process. The funds should never be charged in the first place.
Love the sight in theory, but in reality not so much until they straighten things out and set the rules so we all know what they are!

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
