Pretty poor

Have had a large number of items NOT turn up and have to wait 60 days to get refund, NOT HAPPY with this site nor its refund policy

There have only been approximately 6 occasions when I have been disappointed with the jewellery I. E. plastic gems instead of glass, wrong colours sent without consultation and items not true to size in clothing.
Generally I am very pleased with the majority of items I have bid for.

Uneven

Shipping takes forever for some items. Descriptions vague and proportions unclear. Prices are uneven also. Oftern for some items you can buy them much cheaper on Amazon.

For items being shipped from a different country, we have an extended ship time of 60 days to allow the item the be delivered. Although, we have strict guidelines which require sellers to accurately describe items, please report to us any prices or items that are not following these guidelines.

On the Tophatter website and app there is an option to 'Report this item' at the very bottom of each item description. Using this tool, we can catch and remove any listings needed.

Additionally, In an auction format, it's up to each buyer to review the item description prior to bidding, taking note of all key details, to decide what is a fair or reasonable price based on the value he or she places on the item. Bidders decide how high they are willing to bid, and can stop bidding at any time.

Cheap and chinese

Some items are nice but most are made in China and are very very cheap quality. The bidding is fun the waiting on shipping sucks sometimes, although it's a thrill to finally receive orders and can be great fun to test some of the products out.

Hello this is the second time I've bought what was supposed to be 14 karat gold platinum jewelry from Top Hatter and it's a second time I was sent fake jewelry I'm getting tired of it if anybody here is interested and going in on a class action lawsuit with me against tophatter please email me *******@msn.com they can't be allowed to keep getting away with this, this is out of control, I've read so many complaints about the same thing them selling fake things fake Electronics fake jewelry fake clothes and fake pocketbooks fake perfume fake everything please get in touch with me.

Upon my reporting this issiue to tophatter, tophatter has taken no action of the theft by deception towards me by the company, r. M... a couple of times i recieved fake products. Also, several products were shipped all in one pkg. One postage. Thus r. M... charged my crediit card a seporate shippin fee that didnt exist. A credit card fraude to gain a u. S currancy proffit. Tophatter has been advised of this several times. Also of fake products sent insyead of real product i bid on and paid for imediatly. I strongly suggest noone buy any thing on this site. There are no easy returns. As it states. Tophatter fails to protect us the buyers as they say they do. Ty

Anyone thinking your getting a good deal research before you buy, you will see that items are far less on ebay or amazon you can tell they buy bulk crap to rip off the innocent. This company is gay af and they are scammers I referred a friend and never received my credit.

Don't be fooled

I loved this site when I first started on it, then because I used my debit card too many times in one day my financial institute declined my last payment of a few dollars item and tophatter canceled the won item which is fine however they will not allow me to reinstate my account so if you have a bank that protects you from Fraud when you use your debit card repeatedly this site is absolutely not for you!

I started ordering from Tophatter after I underwent surgery and was bedridden for awhile. I thought it was a fairly cool site given I could bid on items starting at $1 and opt out if I didn't want to continue. However, after "winning" a few items and receiving them, I quickly realized they were not as they appeared. Most were from China and returning the items for credit is next to impossible given it's so expensive. It's basically a sham!

The reason the prices are so low is because 99% of this junk comes from China and takes over a month to receive after you "win"! You can find this stuff else where and save your self the headache and the disappointment.
