For the most part, i am satisfied with my purchases, with a couple of areas of dissatisfaction. First of all, i ordered a lot of items from you and they came individually packaged until one time where supposedly, the shipper put two orders in the same envelope and shipped them. Everything I had received up until then, came individually packaged. Since I paid for individual shipping on every item, i did not expect two items in the same package. From the shippers standpoint, it was a good move, and if I had known in advance that this was happening, i would have been looking for a package containing two items. I did not expect it, so when the package arrived, i opened the top, turned it upside down and shook the package, and one item came out, the other, if in there, must have been stuck and since I did not realize it was there, i discarded the (I thought)empty package. I feel I should have been told to look for two items in the package, via e-mail.it is understandable that the shipper would do this, but should not have charged me for individual shipping, then combining two orders, unknown to me. It's not like there was any added weight to it. Secondly, some of the items are extremely small.
I have purchased many items from Tophatter and have been more than satisfied with most of them. I will continue to make purchases when I see something that I like. No worries!

I purchased this item on May 26th. The expected delivery date was June 20th. The Tracking Number shows no activity as of Today June 23rd. I contacted Tophatter customer service and received the following automated response:

This is the second item that I have messaged them about. The other item arrived after 56 days had elapsed. Very POOR customer service and Automated responses. After I receive this item, or get a refund I WILL close My account with them.

I really enjoy getting on top Hatter I've gotten a lot of great deals on there and would recommend it to many people
Ordered a drone for my son that said it was worth over $1200. It was a cheap plastic piece of junk. I tried to return it but it would have cost $57 just for the shipping. This site is a scam! They know you won't return things due to the cost because they require a tracking number so they just keep sending garbage.

When the buyer and seller are located in different countries, we are unable to provide free return shipping labels for these cross-border transactions. In these cases, buyers may receive a store credit to offset some of the cost of returning the item at their own expense.

Most of the items sold on this site are grossly misrepresented.
Most of the sellers are overseas, and do not abide by Tophatters return and refund policies, so if you buy something that turns out to be fake, there is little you can do to get your money back.
I spent a lot of money paying return shipping to china and still no refund.

Because we are not the seller of the item, we offer an easy return policy which allows you to return an item for any reason within 30 days from delivery date. Unfortunately, since you've had multiple returns cost of return shipping is at the buyer's expense for these orders.

I got 1 package that came empty. Charged $ 78.00 for a MP Player I did NOT order. I don't even know what you do with the player. Got 2 emails from Pay Pal my mailing address had been changed to somewhere on the other side of the USA. I requested NO such thing. To many strange and weird things are going on with my last order and I am NOT happy in any shape or form. I am MORE than upset. This is ridiculous! Most items are quite cheap in quality but some are O. K. I'm quite angry over this last $78.00 for something I did NOT order. This is no way to run ANY business. Are employees taking my information and taking the monies out of my account and shipping things elsewhere?

I ordered an item back on May 15th and i still have not received it.The only response I get from Top Hatter is check with the post office Everything else I ordered arrived but not the very first item. I am very disappointed as I have been recommending this site to all my friends. I don't know how to trust them if they're just going to take my money and not give me any product.

Most of my items are very nice thank you. One of the items did not work the one that is supposed to light up the bathtub for kids it doesn't work no big deal though thank you. Cost more to ship it back then I paid for it.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.

Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
