If you want excellent customer service, try tophatters. If you like to bid and win, try tophatters. Just take your time in bidding and when you see the items you really want, enjoy bidding and winning.
I have always found such prompt service i like that if you've made a mistake bidding it only takes a few seconds to put it right if you decide that the item is not for you you get your refund instantly and no quibbling i'm always pleased with what i buy though i do find that the postage can be quite high but they come come a way around the world so i am confident with everything i buy
The easiest bidding site i have ever come across. Products came from abroad and in just 1 week. Both items as described and cheaper than if bought in UK. Already purchased a second order and recommended to family.
I was pleased with the ease in purchasing from you. The products arrived early and they were of good quality
The quality of items offered is usually exceptional. The ability to offer the best auction bid is wonderful.
I have won a couple of bids on here and one was a micro memory card 128gb. It took a few weeks to arrive and I went to test it on my computer. I tried to copy a large 5 GB file to the mem card and it took forever to copy over. I was seeing speeds of 500 k a second or slower transfer rate where with my sandisk 128gb card the transfer speed was over 20 MB a second. They should tell you that before you win the bid that the cards that they are selling might be real slow and seconds from other manufactures. I also ran a mem card tester and got lots of error on the card. So before you bid on this type of item remember anything that cheap is cheap.
Crappy stuff!. To return anything you have an unrealistic timeframe. To send anything back as quickly as they require you could spend a fortune in shipping costs since most of this crap comes from China. I bought a nintendo system (least thats what the picture showed!) and got some chinese knock-off!. Stay far away from this site!
Do not buy the PHILIAPUPU or whatever the name is. Supposedly a water-washable electric razor, it is nothing but a piece of dollar-store junk. I see a lot of these being sold on Tophatter, and I feel it is only fair to warn everyone that this is a useless piece of junk.
Drone valued at $2000 Winning bid $80! Search the model number drone worth $30
Site is $#*!, $#*! products overstated value, real value is less than the winning bid
Nickolai,
The Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price — also known as “struck out” price – is basically a recommended selling price that is set by the seller based on the value a seller believes their products worth is.
In an auction format, we want buyers to have a fun experience that they are in control of. We urge buyers' to review the item description prior to bidding.
Why? This allows the buyer to decide if the price is fair or reasonable. Reviewing the item description is key in helping buyers' determine how high they are willing to bid with the option to stop bidding at any time If the MSPR or overall Item description doesn't reflect what you feel is reasonable, fair or feel the item simply will not fit your needs. The beauty of the platform (or the beauty of bidding) is the decision is yours to make.
However, if you are not happy with the item you have received, you have the option to return any item for up for 30 days from delivery, per our "*Buyer Protection.*": https :// tophatter. Com/topics/Buying/subtopics/My%20Orders/questions/Is%20there%20Buyer%20Protection%3F
That said, know we do have you, the buyer in mind. We are always striving to make your user experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. To that end, we value suggestions from those people who use our product most, please know we hear your concerns about MSRP and again, we are always working to improve your experience.
Thank you,
Felicia
They say mini gold coins or 1978 kugerrand but what you get is a reminted gold clad worthless hunk of metal. When you see 1978... coin you expect it to be from 1978. When you finally have time to read about it you find out it is not from 1978 at all. Also they advertise 1 troy ounce bars and they are gold clad? Something or other. There wording is there to suck you in and take your money.
I have a $15 credit that I wanted to use on 2 separate items from the same seller and can't do that. What good is a credit if I can't use part of it for one item and the rest for another order? These two orders are at least from the same seller. The total amount for both items is $20 (which includes his $6 for each which is really $12. Horrible seller and no discount from him for multiple orders.
Adrienne,
I'm sorry to hear your services did not meet your expectations.
Please note a store credit cannot be combined or broken down into multiple credits. Store credit is only valid and will automatically apply to your first purchase that exceeds the credit amount by a minimum of $1. Example: your $15 credit will apply to the first purchase of $16 or more. See details here: http://tinyurl.com/jrawq23.
Additionally, combined shipping is an optional choice for sellers. Sellers who offer this option will refund partial shipping after payment is made. Please see full details here: http://tinyurl.com/zte4a57.
Warm regards,
Felicia
I do not know why you don't make the company's submit a sample of their product before you offer it for auction. It is cheap crap from china, that look like you get in a lucky dip. You know it is crap/cheap replicas so why put the bogus cost under the item
This site is nowhere as good as the other sites. I can tell you don't care as long as you get our money. Will be deleting Tophatter from iPad and going to a respectable site.

Got my bo jackson rookie card in mint condintion no issues, came quickly, in it's case, came in the condintion described
I won a bid on a handheld games console, when it arrived it was cheap plastic and the games were not the same, the screen was half the size of the one in the photo! It said there was 200+ games built in bet there were about 10! Total rip off. I won a bid on a purple ladies watch and when it came it looked cheap nothing like the photo and a waste of my money. Will NEVER use this site again RIP OFF SCAMMERS!
If you see an item you might be interested in it usually appears more than once so first read the description and all info about the item by clicking on the picture of the item (not the BID bar) and decide if you are interested. The next time it comes up for bid you already know about the item. Disregard the extreme inflatable prices shown as suggested list prices at the bottom of the picture. Just bid if you like the item and YOU feel it is worth what you are willing to pay. Have fun with little investment. Remember the items are smaller than the pictures make them seem.
Thank you, Larry, for sharing your experience with us. It's great to have you as a valued member of the Tophatter community.
Regards,
Felicia
The photo was one thing; what I got was different and cheap looking metal on the ring... supposed to be silver but looks like a little girl's play ring.
Hi Arletta,

Tophatter is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Everything is from CHINA and it is all CHEAP JUNK. Their shipping is absolutely HORRENDOUS. I ordered one item and it was delivered to someone in Henrietta, NY I live in Mass. Other items i ordered I have not received and they were ordered on 8/1/17. Customer service is awful. You get no satisfaction from them. Same excuse to most people all the time. I am also done with Tophatter. A lot of fraud and scamming I think is going on. Stay away from this company You can do better at other auction sites and most things are not from China. Beware, beware, beware
Helen,

Have a good day,

On tophatter i have seen many items that i bought from china for a couple bucks stating value is in the hundreds. Their original prices of hundreds should mean you are getting top notch jewelry. Its not even silver! Its plated with silver. Be careful what you buy. They get away with it cause the bidding goes so fast you cant read about the item until after you've won-

Don't buy anything from Tophatter. You get what you pay for and it's super cheap crap. Never again. I only chose one star because I had to.

Answer: There is also the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION that can help with these types of problems
Answer: You have to read the descriptions. It will tell you if it's real or plated.
Answer: Do not deal with this company,,, all jewelery is crap n cheap
Answer: Tophatter will screw you over. Shop Amazon or overstock.
Answer: Good luck! Tophatter rippes off the sellers so they are not going to be very likely to return your money.
Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
Answer: Yes! Sale of counterfeit items is prohibited. If you are concerned about the authenticity of an item purchased on the platform, you may return it for up to 30 days from delivery. See full details on our return policy here: http://tinyurl.com/h7xokwj.

Susan,
You can request to return a item within 30 days from delivery. If you are granted a return shipping label, yes there is a time limit of 7 days to use the label and enter the tracking number into your return request.
If this is not completed in time the return label will be void and the return request will indeed close. However, you can still receive a refund by returning the item with tracking at the buyer's expense. Return labels cannot be reinstated after being void.
In regards to Order #32548083- a refund was issued on September 11,2017. You will see your funds returned to your account within 3-5 business days.
Warm regards,
Felicia
