They never respond to questions or concerns. You have to pay for most returns especially to China. This costs more than the item purchased. You can NEVER talk to a person there is no phone number!

To sum it up, keep everything you buy even if you don't like it.

It took weeks to receive once we got it of course it looked cheap right away and of course it never worked not one time my son was so excited to get this but only to be disappointed. Bidder beware I'm done.

Read the descriptions, don't rush. Some stuff is pretty good, some of it is nothing but junk. Some of the bracelets and earrings are very nice, (this order was for some man made opals with small purple stones surrounding, they are very classy and I'm happy with them for $6) but I'm careful to not bid more than a few bucks on it, so the total is only $6 or so with shipping. If you research the products, and see that they are selling for $15 on Amazon, don't bid more! If you are patient, you can often get them for half the price on Tophatter, but it takes time. I've seen items go for $35, that I end up getting for $7. If you cannot restrain yourself from bidding, it's not a good site for you. I got burned a few times, now I do not bid on things that have to 'work', such as electronics. But jewelry for under $10, dog toys, etc, it's good for that. Just KNOW what you are bidding on. It only takes a minute to google the description, and it's always for sale somewhere else.

Received an item that didn't work. Shipped it back to the seller. Still won't credit the $ I'm owed. Customer service just gives you the run around. Do yourself a favor... STAY AWAY!

Misleading!

I bid on a "New 2018 Super Wonderful Touch the Voice Learning Machine with colorful flash..." tablet, and was very happy to have won the bid! After about 2 weeks I received it and was excited because it was for my niece's birthday. I picked up the package and it weighed about 10 oz. No way a tablet weighs so little. I opened the package and I was horrified at what the product looked like! It was totally plastic! The colorful screen was plastic with what looked like the icons were printed on the screen. I thought perhaps I have to peel off the sticker to reveal a real screen but it was not a sticker, it was one piece of very flimsy plastic crap that you can purchase at a dollar store. And the darn thing was battery operated! This was not a tablet of any sort. This is a joke, a gag gift! I honestly thought it was a joke. Someone is allowed to buy dollar trinkets and have people bid of what they advertised as real items! I've bid on and won many other items on this one and only day I discovered this site so I didn't know the products were all fake. Another item is a real view camera for a vehicle. The item arrived and when I opened the box it only contained wiring but not screen! There is a camera alright, but no screen! How are you supposed to use a rear facing camera with no screen to show you anything?! These items are listed as hundreds of dollars when in actuality they cost no more than a dollar or 2! Now I am stuck with a bunch of crap! Stay away from this site.

I too won a cannon printer, but i got mine for 9.00, it did not have ink, had to buy, but all in all i got a brand new printer, that works excellant for under 35.00

Too much time to receive merchandise

Too much time to receive the merchandise from end of auction, when you collect payment at the end of auction, and it takes more than 30 days to receive merchandise, then that is just too much time

I won the bid for this Canon MG2520 printer, for $14.00. After I opened up the box, the printer was brand new, with the red tape on it for shipping, that you have to peel off and throw away. Then when I went to look for the printer cartridges, they were No Where To Be Found! Then I looked at the top of the box and saw that it had another piece of clear tape on it :( ! Those SOB'S stole the print cartridges! They are not cheap! $22 for the color and $17 for the black! Bidder BeWare, If It Is To Good To Be True, Stay The F*** AWAY!

We have purchased many items for Christmas from Tophatter.com, first they were all on the cheaper side of quality and most came from China that took months to get.
--**I ordered a 'Smart Watch' 'early' for a Xmas Present - with many gifts to buy, I waited close to wrapping time to check it to make sure it works - (last thing you want to do is give a present that is broken or does not work... ***the Smart Watch 'DID NOT WORK'... it did not power up after charging as per instructions - kept the charger on the smart watch days after it did not power up - check it everyday, still no power up... wrote to customer support - buyers protection.

***SENT A DETAILED EXPLANATION TO TOPHATTER 'BUYERS PROTECTION' CUSTOMER SERVICE
'TWICE' - NO RESPONSE BACK...

***Tophatter is 'not' telling the Truth for backing the items they sell or how great their customer service is - all bull --- had to buy another Christmas Present and stuck with a 'Broken Smart Watch' --- TO THIS DAY - NO REPLY FROM BUYER PROTECTION OR CUSTOMER SERVICE

***Please don't get carried away at the 'nice pictures' - cheap quality - receive broken items and then get 'frustrated' when they wonderful customer service doesn't respond back...

Got my first order coach purse. First of all I felt 42 dollars was good. Oh. One. It was use and dirty. Who pays that much for a used purse. Two. It was twice as small as I thought I am
