I bought a few items, mp3 player fast shipped doesnt work or hold a charge, i was refunded and a few other items that were over valued and desciptions were wrong got refunded but when it came to the gopro i think i found that diamond in the rough i got a decent item, then that last item got here today and camcorder the size of a toy got here broken no bubble package no protection on camera i wrote in to tophatter about this and they want me to pay 25 for shipping to send it back, i payed 23 for camcorder plus 9 dollar shipping, and now they want me to pay 25 for shipping to get back my refund, this is a scam, after i get my response from tophatter i filed today i will be closing this account i can get what i need on ebay for cheaper and with tracking, what did i learn... for 25 dollars. Tophatter allows sellers to miscalculate their items and allows sellers to sell knock offs.
All the jewlrey I have bought were really nice! But then I have received some defective items which were not refunded because it cost more to return them. Then there are items I have purchased than are not deliverd. At this moment there are 2 items I haven't received yet.
On top hat it's fun to bid on the items but I hate wondering it the item works or ever get delivered!
Tophatter will back te customers on most items. I have had lots of friends check out Tophatter and are happy with the jewlrey!
I got a dash cam it came damaged I tried to get a refund or replacement was told I would get 1/2 credit and had to use it in 2 weeks.
The products are cheaply made and come either broken or just don't work. I ordered lots of Christmas gifts that are not worth giving to anyone. Buyer beware...

Here we go I bidded on a kimio ladys watch says its worth 1,372 and I won them Googled it and Amazon is selling the same watch for 5.35 so how can it be worhth 1,372 when Amazon has the exact same watch for 5.35 just a con and is illegal false prices google before you buy and be conned

I was extremely disappointed. I bought a pair of what they said was " Genuine Emerald " stud earrings sterling silver. I got green rhinestone instead of Genuine Emerald. I also got a Genuine fresh water pearl necklace and all the pearls were deformed mismatched color and some broken!

Most of the items here are junk. Don't expect to give anything you buy here as a gift, because by the time you get the item the box will be bent and damaged and would look like you are re-gifting. Also, if you didn't get your item, if they're shipper says they delivered it, you are just out of luck. I played on this site for awhile, but by the time the merchandise started to arrive, I realized it is junk. Now, I do say, I ordered several rings and a couple of watches and such, and for the price, the jewelry is not usually a bad deal. Also note, the pictures make the toys and such look like they are huge, when you get them they are tiny replicas of what you see in the pictures.

Have found many great deals from this site with only a few issues with products but customer service was always there to help and ensure I was happy and quickly resolved every issue.

This fudge from Dreamweavershop was very soft and still is after 4 days in fridge, I also found a hair in it. Seems like it was not cooked to correct firmness, very gooey/soft/messy to try to cut/pickup. Would not buy more.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
