I just love Topphatter as they pick up the best Seller that sells there products. Love all the products that have come to me & if I have some issues, I'll e-mail to Tophatter & pronto, Tophatter gets to work & to get everything all solved & all the issues to be done right away! The Sellers & Tophatter are the ones that have to do all the hard work to make the customers happy!

What a fun app! It's a bit addicting and a fascinating study in how people shop and what they buy. Personally I've found a few gems at a super low price plus the bidding process is fun. Sometimes the app is a little buggy as there may be a lag in updating the bids in real-time but not enough to deter me from using it.

I ordered around 12 items altogether and to date have received five. So I bought a necklace set, cheap and tacky looking. Not worth more than a few pence. The next item was a desk decoration - it arrived broken and was cheap plastic.
I bought two rose gold coloured rings - look as if they were in a 10p lucky bag. Finally a bath toy which is utter rubbish. Altogether, I would value the items so far at less than £2.00. I would strongly advice against using this very deceptive site.

The first item I received came in a standard overseas amount of time. It is a low quality but not far off from what I expected, given the price. Item 2 (9-22 order) came with a shipment date a few days later(9-26) but it's now 5 weeks later with no item and TopHatter requires another 5 weeks before "Buyer Protection" says I can be reimbursed. The website says 30 days for domestic and 40 days for international post payment, but their site has me waiting 63 days (11-25). Disappointing.

I have been ordering from Tophatters for about a year or more. I have had nothing but great experiences with them. I have bought everything from name brand purses, jewelry, household items, sheets, toys, electronics etc. I had my first experience with Pandora like bracelets and charms from them. The prices are reasonable and their return policy is right. I have had nothing but good experience with the merchants as well. I have quite a few of my co-workers and friends ordering from them. Oh, and did I mention how exciting it is to bid for what you want. I would highly recommend shopping with Tophatters.

I was super excited originally and ordered over seventy items. I promise you that fifty percent were damaged. A pressure cooker came with only a round rubber part and no cooker. Packages were damaged and products were tiny. The helicopters and toys were dollar store quality. They misrepresent almost every item I purchased. They do not respond to you complaints. And I still have items I havent received and its been over two months. I have so many more complaints. I warn you, this site will not last long but they will get rich robbing us first.

I got lots of different items, most of them were exactly like the picture showed. The sizes were great! When something wasn't right they corrected it right away. Enjoyed my experience thank you

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
