Should be rating of 0. Ok so out of over 50 items the only items that were OK was 2 rings. Clothing was all made for smurfs, they will describe a top made out of pajama material that you can see through as a 'coat' or 'jacket' then take one picture so far away. Toys for kids were tiny parts of cheap, cheap plastic say remote helicopter was about 6". Of course they don't give details or allow you to read feedback on what others say or you'll find out it's all a scam! Bought 6 Smartwatches... NOT ONE WORKED! Return guarantee!? LOL. Sure... but you will need to pay return WITH tracking and from Canada it's over 75.00! Tophatter is all fraudulent sellers backed up by a company full of scammers! I think everyone should come together file a class action suit against these scammers! I spent my whole Christmas allowance for 15 grandchildren here as I have 4 the grade lung cancer and brain tumor cannot get out! I am now stuck with defective items six didn't even show but they don't care... they said I waited too long. But seller told me would take 4 months to arrive from China. So I waited that long... well now company said it's to long. I urge all... I know the ads look good... but they never, ever, ever are! And there is no guarantee, as if there was... I would not be here now broke and no Christmas gifts! I asked to speak to A manager... they would not even allow that no matter what! And to those that say they shop here all the time and it's great.? We are not stupid we know the company is paying you to add good reviews to balance out all of public knowing it's a scam!
Everything that I is great and works very well and I got a fruit tree growing great. I will tell everyone that it's a great way to get great stuff for the holidays or birthday etc.

I've purchased several items from this site, but never again. The shipping is so slow, it takes up to 4 days for the items to leave from where ever. The "RRP" shown at time of the auction is so so over inflated, it's a joke and the items are no better than "carnival toys". Save your money, buy off ebay.

I have been using this site for 5 weeks now, and have won the bidding close to 30 items. Todate, I have received 14 items. I got so excited everytime I received a parcel
So far, I'm very happy with all the items I received, ranging from jewelries, toys, electronics, clothing. With the money I spend on each item, I'm satisfied with what I got.
So far, everything is in good condition.
I'm sorry to hear a lot of customers were dissatisfied and gave very negative feedback.
Here's the tip - on any item that you wish to buy, set a maximum price you're willing to pay which includes particularly the shipping cost. If this item exceeded your allowable limit, then let it go and wait for this item to come out again. Also read the description, so as not to be disappointed when the merchandise arrives.
So much fun to watch the bidding. As I have already won a lot of items, then see how these items reached a very high price, the more I'm quite motivated to purchase more as I know I'm getting good value for money.
Also, I wonder how a lot of customers are having problems refunding their money back - as long as the item is not in transit, getting your money back even you have paid for it
Should not be a problem. But I learned something, that if you cancel 5 times, your account is automatically blocked and cannot bid for the next 7 days. However, this didnot stop me from bidding, as I have used the other website DOLLARSTART

Hi! I have to say I love your website! No. 1, I love it because I think it's the challenge of the bidding, and there's always new product to choose from. I have had a few not so good experiences but 99% of my experiences with TopHatter have been very good. I like how if you have a problem that someone gets back to you very quickly and if you need a refund it's in your account almost immediately they never give you a hassle so, so far I've had a very good experience with you guys! I have fun bidding on items and love when I win them. I have gotten very nice things on here. On the rare occasion that things have gotten lost in transit Ive gotten a full refund. Love that I dont lose my money. They take very good care of the people who bid on their site

Tophatter is an awesome site. Be careful when first learning the ropes, though. There are some sellers who know how to put the glamour in the cover photos and the real details in fine print. Before bidding too high on items, read about the item, the seller, etc. Size, weight, alloy, stone, material, and which item in the picture you are actually buying. I have scored unbelievable deals. They offer a wide variety of items which is geat and shipping times seem pretty good considering distance from suppliers. The auction is fast so will start and finish when you are online, no waiting days or hours to find out if you win.
Only issue is the speed of the auction and number of items involved, can make you miss seeing an item until it is sold especially if you stop to read details during auction vs before it begins.
