I enjoy the experience of going up against others trying to win the overall bid.
Seeing the different products up for grabs with the original prices and seeing what others are getting it for is great.

Great resolution by customer service department. It took a bit of time to get an original response, but they resolved it immediately in first response. Typically items arrive before expected date.

Speedy auctions, need to make sure you know your product first or you may hook into a product just to not miss the auction. Products good value but shipping takes longer than other on line sites I have used. I found it fun and exciting and have scored my self some cool new gadgets. I will be back

I've only received a few items so far but, I'm mostly quite satisfied. One item was not received as described and I received an immediate refund! A piece of jewelry received was a great buy and so was a chefs knife.
Bad services, I Wait over 30 Days for à article Who was broken. The article was mademoiselle of cheap plastic.

Purchases cancel themselves or are cancelled by the seller, then im punished for it. Like banned from bidding for 24hours, like right now.

Still have not received items that I ordered in Nov 2017. Now The customer service button on their website has not worked for 2 days. I can only assume that this company is now a total scam. Also They said I received another item yet it has never arrived. Why would I tell a lie about an item that cose $4? Many of the items that arrived are junk, smaller than said that they are or arrive broken due to poor packaging. I was excited when I had the chance to get some items at a price that would be looked at as a steal but most arrived broken, way to small or never arrived. I am very disappointed with my experience with this company. They do not believe the customer. They mislead the customer by allowing descriptions of items that are wrong and by not letting people know where items are coming from... most of their junk comes from China which has a very bad track record with their post office and mailings. When I told them about one item that was 2 weeks over due they told me to wait another 30 days and then contact them if it had not arrived. Dont trust them to deliveranything!

I like the site but not happy with trying to ship it back, The postal office wants $50.00 to get a tracking # because I live in Canada, So if you are not happy with the product & its only worth $35,00 it is not worth shipping it back, Could you follow up on this. Thanks Gerry

You never know the item is from China, which is 99% of the items until you get your label info. They are misleading. The photos are used from sites such as Ebay where the product is actually authentic. Never buy clothes from them. If you order a 2XL, it will fit like a Medium. Skinny fat chinese cannot be compared to American sizes. They expect you to pay for shipping which costs 4 times the amount you pay for the cheap garbage. Tophatter does not protect you. I have since canceled my account and will not recommend them to anyone.

On the other hand, please understand that shipping prices are specified by the Seller as only the Seller can account for all their costs in sending an item. The shipping costs are displayed prior to bidding.

Normally I don't write reviews for anything but this website is so bad I had to warn people first of all it acts like it's so easy to cancel stuff but if you do cancel anything they will put you on a 7-Day block for bidding! And then if you cancel anything after that they will completely block you from bidding but they'll still allow you to pay full price for some of these items which none of them are worth what they are saying this stuff is all garbage it's all stuff you might be able to find in the dollar store seems like almost everything that I got in was much smaller then what they said then also you pay a lot for shipping if you are going to bid watch what it says for shipping underneath the bid amount and one last thing it will also tell you an item has shipped but you're still going to be waiting a couple weeks to get the product and I ordered two things before Christmas and it is now January 11th and I have not heard anything from them even after asking them where my item is hopefully this is helpful for somebody thank you

Bid on an item, but after winning the item, I checked Walmart online. The same item was several dollars less than Tophatter. Always check Walmart or other websites before committing to Tophatter.

Answer: There is also the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION that can help with these types of problems

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
