I have had a good experience so far with only a few problems.
Refunds are dealt with very fast, but if you request an item returned, it usually costs more to ship than what is reimbursed
You should ask if i want to ship it back, because i have kept the item.
I have had only one item not shown up, and still dealing with it

TopHatter, I believe is a good business. I have bought several items. Some great, some ok, and some not worth paying for. But overall, I will continue to shop with TophHatter. And if you are not satisfied with the product. The refund is fair. So I give TopHatter an A-

Tophatter has a large selection of items at excellent prices. I did all my Christmas shopping with them and I continue to shop for other gifts as well. You have to wait awhile to receive the items, but the price makes it worth it.

Would recommend this site to anyone. Very professional when I had to email that a piece of jewellery necklace broken in transit. Immediately a refund was applied.

I have so many refunds from sellers that do not mail what I bought. Items are not as described. Lost so much money because it is too expensive to return the broken item when they can send a return label so easy. Other sellers are so quick to mail the item I bought and I enjoy getting it, that is why I bought it, is to get it right away and enjoy my purchase, or if it is a gift I can give it right away. Sellers please mail faster so we can enjoy it..

I first received a Louis Vuitton purse that was not authentic as stated to correct it I would have to send it back to China and hope that I would get my money back! So if not I would be out money and have no product. As far as the other products that I have tried most are very cheap and smaller than shown on the page. I didnt pay much for those so I can handle that but I did pay $135.00 for a plastic purse. Very disappointed and won't be ordering anything in the future.

I have never seen such cheap materials and workmanship. I gave all the junk for my grandchildren to play with. I wouldnt wear any of it as it was disgustingly cheap looking.

Wow! Where do I start I have never had anything but quality service and quality merchandise from your company. I love the good bargains I've bid on and won. So far, everything has been lovely, however the time it takes to receive the merchandise is a problem. The other problem is, way to many emails. Even after unsubscribing I still receive 10 to 15 emails a day and some are duplicates. I get them on my phone too.

I am fairly new to Tophatter, but I must say "I Love IT". Did some Christmas shopping on it, and just had some fun too. I only had one unfavorable experience, but it was taken care of right away which surprised me yet made me very happy. I had purchased an item that looked on the site, as a large item. When I received it, it was the size of a jaw breaker or gum ball. No questions asked, Tophatter refunded my money. I think it is a great site, and fun too. My only suggestion is for Tophatter to ask their sellers to use inches instead of mm. It would certainly help us Americans understand sizes a lot easier. Keep up the good work Tophatter! Answer: There is also the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION that can help with these types of problems

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
