My main concern is that some items are not described fully enough, very little info given on jewelry, etc I have made several purchases, most of which i'm happy with, at good prices. I still buy at E-bay and amazon, but I check tophatter a lot, Have gotten a few great deals such as a white gold 10K wedding band for under $10, but went went back for a size 14, and only up to 12
When i first started ordering i liked what i bought but the last three items wasnt what it was suppose to be and i order two items they said was delivered but i never recied them

The experience is thrilling, great fun and exciting to receive the packages. However, one item fro China is fraudulent. The Australian sheepskin is around 2 feet by 2 feet in size. This is a con. I want my money back before I buy again.

I have been bidding at Tophatter since its inception and I could not be more pleased. I have read some remarks about how badly they are treated, but I have had nothing but good experiences. A few items are occasionally lost or damaged, but we are refunded very quickly. People are also claiming they are being ripped off, but I have never had any problem with my ordering or paypal payments. Overall very Satisfied

I was introduced to Tophatters about six months ago and have been hooked ever since. I have increased my jewelry collection with so many beautiful and unique pieces. I am able to pay what I want to pay for an item simply with the click of a button. If an item up for bid exceeds what I want to pay, I just wait for it to come up for auction again. Or I'll find something better. Each piece of jewelry has been more beautiful than the last. I've paid as little as $1 for quality jewelry that gets many compliments.

Great new items arriving daily and tophatter always takes care of any issues with sellers in a timely fashion. Most sellers are selling top quality items, however it is best to read descriptions before bidding.

Tophatter has been good to me so far I got refunded right away when I
Recieved. A broken product they take back something if you dont want it or change your mind or whatever they have.done right by me so far so good

I really enjoy the variety that they have to offer, you just have to pay attention to the description and everything will be fine, don't get taken, pay attention to what you're buying. Since I noticed Tophatter I have one more thing to look forward each day. After a long day and after Ive had a good supper. I sit down and pick up my iPad. The first place I go is yap you guessed it to take a quick look at all the goodies for the day. I watch for a few minutes then I see it. The big prize for the right price. More times than not I have bid and won. The prizes are so nice and price couldnt get any lower. Its a highlight in my day ending on a positive note.

I have been on and off Tophatter for awhile now(when I was off it was not due to them at all). I have bought some absolutely beautiful items, I have bought items that were of significant value over department stores, I just today received something I was dissatisfied with, I will call them tomorrow and see what happens. As with everything on the Internet you need to read everything and not take things at face value but as of today I haven't had any problems with Tophatter and I absolutely love their site. I tell everyone I know about this site imagine my surprise when they also have a referral program, so I also get rewarded for stuff I already do, shop and talk. Freaking win

Answer: There is also the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION that can help with these types of problems

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
