Some items I ordered were as stated others complete rip off eg. Blanket for bed in it shows picture show full sized bed what I got was a cover only my cat can fit on. Also only wanted to check out a couple of items and accidently bid on them. Cancelled bid now can't bid for 7 days. But that's fine because if I see an item I want now I go to ebay cheaper and ship free. Or to wish and find same item also cheaper.

I have received good quality items and shipping is fairly quick. On one item I asked for a refund as the ring was not my size, actually my fault and received a refund quickly so customer service is great.

I love love love Tophatter. I'm constantly checking it out. I've made many purchases and have not been disappointed. The 90 second auctions are fun and even if you miss out you can always set a reminder and you get notified in advance. I love that feature. It's very easy to use. Their customer service is exceptional. I highly recommend this fab site!

I love Tophatter. The jewelry is fantastic, everything I have purchased has been super. Received on time, nothing lost so far. Ring I got in two days ago, I gave to a friend cuz she liked it... a coin is going to my dad for his birthday and I got another watch today. Presents, gifts just because, all sorts of reasons to buy, and the goods are awesome! I only pay for what I win and if I feel the price is getting too high, I get off the item and have lost nothing but a little time since I don't pay for bids... This is a top site to me!

I have been shopping Tophatter for quite a while and have purchased many items from there. I am pleased to say that for the most part I am pleased with the items and the service offered. I only recall one incident where I was not pleased. Given the volume of my purchases, thats pretty good. I recommend using Tophatter.

This item was received in excellent and surpassed the sellers description. Packaging was as such that there was no damage to the item. Shipping was faster then I anticipated and was appreciated. The seller should be complimented for accurate description.

Answer: There is also the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION that can help with these types of problems

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
