Refunds on my account you see I had requested personally over 1/3 of my purchases in this light, on top of this Tophatter had refunded me themselves on non authentic products as well. According to your statistics nearly half of Tophattersbuyers were not happy with this company and how it is dictated to run as such. Honestly the true return rate on goods would be more than 60 to 70% if buyers shouldnt have to pay international shipping costs to return, As you know purchasers pay shipping costs from Tophatter sellers out to us along with item price already.
The total onus must be on the sellers, from this platform company to sell items in sizes, or colours advertised as available upon bidding. Also not to keep sending: Chinese factory seconds, that dont work, are damaged, rough copies of displayed items, adapter unabled, electronics, that run by batteries, cards or adapters needed that dont fit any international adapter ripped, broken products, and products that are as advertised on TV fakes etc. Tophatter punishes the buyer, its all a money and numbers game to this Compay,, who need sellers for profits. Who keeps the company in profit, The Buyers. Forget Buyer Protection Policy. Let the sellers roll...

Very easy to use. Only thing I could think of to make better when you win and you see something else to bid on it makes you go to the pay page before you can bid on next item and wish had a choice to pay for it all at one time.

Not only am i getting my orders quickly but they are exactly as expected and at great prices. There are so many items to chose from and what sets TopHatter apart from similar sites is that there are variants to thr item your bidding on and not just one size or color.

In my experience with Top Hatter; I found them to be honest, having integrity, good products; good pricing; determined by what you want to spend for an item. I found no discrepancies in the product description and the actual product. What you see is what you get.

Receive a product, wonder eye cream. Very dissatisfied with the product, my eyes swelled, did not reduce fine lines and made under eyes darker. I checked the ingredients, and nothing was good. Usually the first ingredients tell the tale. I am so disappointed in this product and ashamed that I would be connedl. What a sham? Do not order from the site Tophatter! Buyer beware. If it is to good to be true, it is not? Heads up not the real deal. Just trying to take your money and run. Good Luck to all that participate in the joy of an auction that is bogus. Happy New Year!

I've been a Tophatter customer for many years and can't say I've ever had a bad experience with purchasing, returning or shipping delays. Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
