Overall I have had very good luck with Tophatter. The items ordered are as represented in the listing and generally arrive in a reasonable amount of time. Only one experience where the product was missing parts and I received a refund immediately without them asking to ship the item back since it was not expensive. Only once has shipping been slow, but the product did arrive and was exactly what I expected.
The best thing about this site over other auction type sites is the auctions only last a minute or two, there is no waiting days to see if you won or got outbid like on E-Bay and other auction driven sites.
One caution - read the descriptions of the items carefully. Particularly with coins, items are often replicas of the original and plated, not solid gold or sliver. The descriptions are always accurate and clear, you just need to read them and not start bidding based solely on the picture. Also, know the value of the item as many people get carried away and end up paying far more than an item is worth.

Never did I go to the web to buy anything. Everyone told me you need to check out ebay. Since I retired I thought, well I'll look and just see what everyone talking about. So I was looking when a ad for Tophatter popped up and I saw this beautiful ring that said just sold for 5.00. I had to check it out. I did, I won a couple of bids and that got my fingers itchy to place some more bids. I have 7 granddaughters this is the best site for me. I can get them Kylie makeup for almost nothing, and the jewelry Wow! I'll be here til the end.

I love bidding on Tophatter, its fun and easy and if you dont win the first time you bid on item youll almost always get another chance within minutes. Any small shipping or product quality issues Ive had have been immediately addressed and resolved quickly. I recommend Tophatter to all my friends and family!

I was a lil skeptical at first but after I won actual KKW (KIM KARDASHIAN MAKE UP) for $7 & when i googled the value and seen it was $40+ I was ecstatic! When the package arrived it was legit! It was one of my daughters fav Xmas presents! Of course some items can be found for less than what the bids are adding up to but if you know the value of things or Google the value ahead of time, then you will know what to bid and not any higher... alot of their products are available thru the CUTE app for a lot cheaper but most products available for bidding are worth it! I'm addicted to it & don't plan on stopping!

90% of the items on this site is junk. If you do get a good price on one of the items that are decent, I'll bet you wont receive it. Then you have to fight with the customer service to get a refund. Sellers also hold on to your money for a month or two and then cancel your order. Turned them into the BBB. If you want Chinese stuff than use Gearbest. No bidding. Great customer service.

Bought my first item on Tophatter. Never received a confirmation from the seller and the item was not shipped. Tophatter has know customer service email or phone number to contact them. They apparently are a total scam site. The sell items, collect the money and keep it. I will assume they will be out of business soon when the Feds get around to them. Anyone reading this, don't get pulled into the offshore online scam!

I bid on and won 14kt white gold CZ stud earrings. They are NOT STAMPED 14kt and don't test gold at any carat. Base metal... BE VERY CAREFUL. I read all the small print; they just lied. Simple as that.
When I called customer service they said they were just a go between and would refund my money. T
