Top hatter has to be the absolute worst online shopping place Ive ever experienced. I purchased approximately 10 items when I first got on the site. Initially, it seemed really neat. The problem came when I received the items. Most showed up either defective or not doing what the ad described. Laptops are extremely cheaply made and the cameras only take super grainy photos of yourself. Its a joke. Smart watches say theyre compatible with iPhones but theyre not. Bluetooth speakers arrived broken. Then comes the customer service part. After receiving a return shipping label for a defective item ( first one I asked to return), I was told on every other return, including returns due to defective items, that I was responsible to pay the shipping cost to ship back defective items. All the items I asked to return were either due to it not working, broken or didnt do what it said it was supposed to. And heres the kicker, shipping from here to China or wherever international location you have to ship to, cost much more than you even pay for the product. So its not worth it to ship back items, even the broken ones because you pay more for shipping then you did for the product. Customer service is absolutely no help whatsoever in this area. Please dont waste your money

Tophatter is a Marketplace that connects buyers with sellers (https://tophatter.com/terms), and we rely on sellers to provide accurate information about every item; however, if you discover a listing has been misrepresented in any way, we offer excellent Buyer Protection (https://tinyurl.com/yc6sdknh). As part of our quality assurance process, our system detects and applies strong penalties to sellers with higher than average return rate, and individual items exceeding the rate will no longer be scheduled on our platform.
If you have a problem with a purchase or feel you didn't receive what was described, a return request must be opened for each order that was not satisfactory.
With that said, Tophatter will always process refunds for buyers upon receiving a valid tracking number from them indicating that the order has been returned to the seller. Tophatter offers Buyer Protection in the form of a 30-day Easy Return policy that will either: 1.) refund the buyer without return needed, 2.) provide the buyer with a prepaid return label, or 3.) present the buyer with the seller's address to return the item, paying for their own return postage with valid tracking number.
On our platform, refunds or prepaid return labels are provided to U.S.-based buyers until the buyer hits a threshold for free returns. For internationally located buyers, we provide some store credit to offset the cost of returning the item at their own expense until the buyer hits the threshold. The acceptable return threshold is continuously calculated as a percentage of the buyer's total purchases. Once this threshold has been met, the cost of returning the item to the seller with tracking will be at the buyer’s expense. When this happens, it is explained in the email buyers receive when they request a return, that they are responsible for the return shipping cost, and the buyer is provided with the seller’s return address to facilitate the successful return of the order.
Tophatter’s return policy is in-line and considered standard among the industries’ competitors. Marketplaces, as an industry, institute thresholds for the number of free returns offered, to curb abuse. Our Buyer Protection FAQ which details our policy and process is accessible from every page and screen of our website and mobile app for the buyer's convenience.

Probably more than that--all at auction prices. Delivery in many cases was faster than predicted. Only received one item broken. I'm hoping to get that one replaced.
