I love a good bargain. I ordered two rings, paid very little for them. One ring came to me unmounted. I was disappointed, but contacted Tophatter, and received my money back immediately. I gave Tophatter another chance, and purchased another ring. The 2nd ring I got was just so pretty, lighter pink, almost a peach color on a silver mounted base.It sparkles beautifully in the sun. Wore it to work, lots of compliments. Highly recommend Tophatter to anyone who wants a true bargain, and great customer service!

Top hatter is a site that no body can pass by, once persons see the merchandise and the chance to pay only so much for a specific item this will keep them coming back

I love this website I go on it all the time. The one problem is for some reason it stopped my ability to bid for 8 days because I canceled too many orders

Tophatter acts as a liasion for sellers but if you need help it falls on deaf ears they will send you a chain letter excusing them from liability, like I said my items were delivered to apartment 201 by Canada post because my buzzer code is 201 but my apartment is 407 so even if it says it was delivered it wasn't delivered to me both tophatter and Canada post equally are responsable and I lose about $200... so I would recommend that no one use tophatter you will get ripped off.
Tophatter will not help with lost orders that say delivered but I did not get... I believe Canada post misdelivered items but tophatter won't help with issue and has lost me as a customer.
Tophatter has not replied to my missing items inquery and it has been a month, I have spent a lot of money there and I'm missing about $200 worth of products.
I recently bid on several item, being a first time bidder I should of bid on one item and waited until I got the item to bid on other items. I received a pair of earrings they had been packaged so cheaply that the prongs of the earring had come through the packaging, the earring prongs were bent and the stone was out of the setting. I received a couple of other things that the packaging was terrible also. One of the items had no return information on it at all. Almost everything I purchased, once I got it with more specific information I was able to google it and find it for less, the same exact thing. Of course in this bidding process there is no time to check the price your paying. Granted your paying cheap prices, but for cheap items also. Guess it's as they say, you get what you pay for. Deleted my app and wouldn't use it again. I would rather pay a bit more and be happy. As I said though you can find the same thing on line for less.

Tried to get ahold of Graciela and ended up with some idiot who had no idea what I was talking about after telling me she was not available. Nothing was solved and now after dealing with them some more, when my paypal dispute is settled, I'm no longer dealing with them. Ebay is still the best way to go if you see something you like. Plus they still will not send you a return shipping label if the seller send you the wrong item. I think they do it on purpose to get rid of stuff that is not selling.

I have found that not all sellers will pay for the return of an item as is advertised, even wrong items that the seller shipped. Some jewelry items are nice. If you see an item you like, jot down the name, then go to E-bay and T-mart.com as most likely you'll find it there cheaper, with free shipping and a "buy it now" price which is sometimes cheaper than bidding on it.
I like Tophatter because it is really a lot of fun... Usually, if you miss out on a bid, you will find the same item up for bid, shortly. I got a Cannon copier and scanner for $20.00. Have bought a lot there... there are a lot of unusual items. It is a great place to shop!

I ordered an digital indoor TV antenna, which failed to work as it was supposed to.
After numerous e-mails to the supplier, ClearTV.com, I was then advised that "Tophatter.com does not belong to their website". And that I was to "contact them (directly) for further assistance." But, as Tophatter.com only seem to have a "no reply" e-mail address, I have been unable to contact them in this regard. I will not be ordering anything from them again in the future.

I was able to view Order 53371466 and I see that the item is outside of the 30 days return policy, sorry.

I saw this site a few times and decided to give it a try. They have so many items that I am going to go back to look at more. I purchased a bracelet and am very satisfied with it. I also purchased a diamond painting which I have to wait 3 weeks for but that's because they come from over seas. I will purchase more items

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
