I have to say you guys were outstanding I really do love you your product your prices everything about it the only thing that I would like to see that you make these companies do is when we order seeds from you guys is put a name on the seed let us know what it is because when we get it its just a little bit a package of seeds in the bag we dont know which ones they are and I order a lot of seeds so thats kind of crazy thats one thing I dont like about it makes me 91 order seeds

Tophatter lists items for sale by the item number. However, when we receive the items we've won, we are burdened with task of searching through hundreds of or printouts by the USPS tracking number. I've already suggested to Tophatter that it should require all Sellers to indicate the "ITEM NUMBER" in the package when they ship the item. Needless to say, my suggestion fell on deaf ears; otherwise I would not be writing this message. Time is of the essence, and Tophatter would save us a lot of valuable time by requiring Sellers to indicate in their shipping packages the ITEM NUMBER(S) of each item shipped, and as the item(s) were listed by their item number(s) on Tophatter. Fantastic prices and fast delivery there's is no better don't pass it. Best on the net. The bidding is a blast and they have made shopping fun again. You've got to give it a try.
Almost better than average, Tophatter excels in some areas and is below average in others.
In my experience, nearly everything I've won in auction that needs batteries or has a motor is a failure. They don't work no matter what is done. I don't buy those items any more.
Some items I have really wanted take a month to get. It would be helpful to shorten the amount of time a seller has to send an item.
I occasionally receive an item with no paperwork of any kind. A return address is in a foreign language and there is no statement. It's not possible to return items that don't work, are broken or are received in used condition when something new was expected.
Jewelry is generally Tophatter's strongest suit. I've not had an issue with jewelry.
With a few administrative tweaks, Tophatter could be a topnotch company.

I really dont like this web site because all the stuff i have gotten is from china and not good quality. I bought like 30 items and most of them is junk and it costs to much to send it back to China. Dollar tree has better items and for just a dollar and i receive them right away after i pay and check the item..

Like the quickness of bidding, items are displayed so you know whats being bid on. Havent experienced many problems besides they are quickly responsive..

After buying some items the items are much smaller than what they appear or they are copy's or copper. Lookin at the value of the items I purchased they only cost. 99 cents copper coins. I will still look for items but will read very close before I bid. I only keep them it will cost more to send back then what they are worth.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
