While TOPHATTER is a third Party they are on it. When the Merchants who use the site to sell items don't always deliver the product purchased, items that did not work or showed up not as advertised were refunded in a very timely manner. Untraceable items, after a certain amount of time were also refunded. Tophatter, great work, please keep it up.

Im very happy with the deals you can get on Tophatter. Generally products arrive before theyre promised. Glad that you dont always have to bid... I get most of my deals on the browse page.

Bought a printer and just opened it up. No ink cartridge and no cable for the printer. This box had been opened up before it was sold and items taken and then sealed back up. Was ripped off buy seller.
Total rip off, will not buy from this site again!

The auctions are fun and fast. 90 seconds and I have won a lot of great stuff. I don't have much else to say other then I wish delivery was a bit faster.

I like to shop around when I know in advance that I need to purchase items. I like that TopHatter vendors give me the choice to wait for an auction or make my purchase when I am ready. I have not had a problem with any of the items or vendors I purchased from.

Great products at extremely insanely low prices. Watch out though, bidding on products can be addicting. But since the prices are so low, it won't matter. Of course, as good as some things appear to be, be careful. Occasionally if it appears too good to be true, trust your instincts. Once and a rare while you may find a product that doesn't match expectations. The good news is however, Tophatter provides a satisfaction guarantee. And they WILL stand by it. They have you covered. I just hope they can maintain their high quality and low prices as they grow. For now I highly recommend!

Good site to get stuff cheap off of. Just need some way to get the stuff faster to the people. Like get storage in the united states. When you are bidding make shure you read th description first before bidding.
My purchases have been mostly positive. The one issue I had was that a product wasn't wrapped properly and was damaged when I received it but it was quickly resolved and my money refunded.

I have a blast looking to see what new listings there are each day. As long as people understand you get what you pay for then youll never be disappointed. I have only gotten a few items I was disappointed in. Be sure to read the item description very closely before bidding

Almost everything I bought either does not fit is very poor quality, the boxes they came in are all banged up and falling apart. I loved the watch I got but it was so big and no way to make it smaller. I did get a refund on some items but others they needed me to return. It was way to much hassle. Things also come in different colors then what you bought. Your sight appears great but the items look much better on your sight then in person. I bought so many items and was only happy with 4 or 5 of them. Regards, Terri

First of all a lot of the items are unique and I have purchased many times. My problem is returning items that did not meet my expectation. Most of my items are shipped from China. Now I have nothing against purchasing from China, it is the returning that is the issue.
For example, I just received the glove to rub over my dog and it collects hair... my dog is long hair and the product does not work. What am I to do? Return it to china with big shipping and handling charges or just throw it away?
I ordered the egglettes because I am told they work well. However, on the picture it looks like they will be boxed and include instructions. They do not, nor did they come in the box. They came in a plastic bag and no instruction. How long should I cook the eggs?
Another issue is when a package arrives, it is all written in Chinese including the instructions. I don't read Chinese nor have a friend who does!
Also, the descriptions of a lot of the items could be a little more precise. For example, how long is the chain that comes with the necklaces? What are the ring size? Every picture of a piece of jewelry should be shown on a real finger or neckline... not just side and front views. I got sick and tired of purchasing such items only to be disappointed by the size.
However, on the good side there are some good bargains and it is a fun site. Just beware, most comes from China and what you see may not be what you want.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
