Have bought several items from this sh1t site and have yet to get anything of any quality, all items are cheap plastic Chinese crap that would not sell anywhere else,

I have received some great deals and great items. Clothing does not fit. Way smaller than American sizes. Most items are described well, but I have been ripped off three times by ads for items with confusing descriptions and pictures that do not match what you are actually buying. All at once i went in to my ordered items and a lot have disappeared no idea where they went and they have already been paid for, where did they disappear to the clouds? I know one thing was a very pretty rectangle Aquamarine ring size 8. That the last time I looked it said it was shipped it's gone not sure what else, but wish my whole list of everything I have bought would reappear.

Much of the merchandise on this site comes from China directly. Much of it may be described as "Chinese Junk." There are legitimate items on this site. One of them is an Android iPad. You bid on them in a 90 second frenzy. Some of the images are misleading. Read the descriptions CAREFULLY. I did get a neat little set of "Minions" ( Despicable Me characters) that are tiny but nicely made and fun to have. Some of the items are the things you see at the end of grocery and drugstore counters.

When sellers can refund if they are not happy with the price, it is a sale, not an auction! Also some of the product are no where near as advertised therefore, I will stop my bidding as of now!

Please read everything carefully before bidding, the value posted is not accurate, When buying silver realize that 1 gram is worth at best. 50 cents, also sometimes you pay more for shipping than the item is actually worth, Especially the coins. And quite a few other things, If the seller dose not get what they really want the add it to the shipping. If you want cheep this is the place but do not fall for the photos as the description is key

The site is great. Some of the stuff is pretty cheese but you get what you pay for. I plan on still getting stuff regardless on how cheese some of it is.

I've done several reviews for TopHatter and I love bidding and winning but most of all I love Tophatter's products --- unique with quality. Hopefully I would see more Made in America products; and Tophatter has "Easy Return" policy as long as it is justifiable and within the Tophatter policy. Thank you Tophatter! Piece of advice: Before you bid on a product, read the description first; e.g., I saw a beautiful sweater and I was in a hurry and bid for it. Thank GOD somebody outbid my bid because the sweater has only 1 size - Small.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
