I THINK I GOT ABOUT 7 THINGS FROM TOPHAT AND 2 WERE BROKE OR DIDN'T WORK, ONE WAS SO SMALL I WOULD NOT USE IT. GOT MY MONEY BACK FOR ONE AND IT WASN'T WORTH SAYING ANYTHING FOR THE OTHER. IT WAS NOT TOPHATS FAULT. THEY JUST GOT THE CREDIT. IT WAS STRICTLY MY FAULT. I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED INTO WHAT I WAS BUYING BETTER. LET ME CHANGE MY 1 STAR TO 4 INHSTEAD.

I was excited when I began shopping on the site. Admittedly I did order quite a few items before the first one came.
When I won the grill Matts it was in error but I paid anyway thinking I would gift them. When they came it was simply parchment paper. Although disappointed I kept a positive attitude about the other items. The second item, a radar detector came and was cheap plastic that didnt work. The watch came and it was flea market merchandise.
I was happy with the video camera and the mini Mario game however I have since deleted the app and decided not to shop at Tophatter moving forward.
I still have 4 items yet to arrive but I dont have a lot of expectations that it will be anything I like. Sorry guys but you really need to look at some of these items that your vendors are peddling. They are suspect at best.
I won two auctions with very low bids and did not get the items. They said there was a problem with my credit card? Ive won several other auctions at fair prices and the card went through just fine. Apparently if you win with too low of a bid you dont get the item. But you also dont get billed for it.

Wow looks like all is collapsing at Tophatter. May 31st they sent an email out to their sellers telling them they were going to a 60 day payout schedule effective June 1,2018. I guess all the cheap stuff and dollar starts have caught up to them. Really bad sign when you have to keep the sellers money that long.

You're really not getting a deal, the products are terribly inferior, cheap materials, poor workmanship. I ordered a couple of items and have never purchased again. I order online often but I no longer waste my money at Tophatter.

I am very satisfied with most of my purchases and if not... I complain and NO problem refunding me right away... those that say its all fake not real... its good quality fake anyways esp. The bling, cubic circonia and gem stones. They are all cheap and you get what you paid for. I must have bought more than 100 items since I started joining and mostly I give them away as gifts and they love it. HAPPY CUSTOMER SO FAR!

They messed up, I waited, I received a tablet in a BAG! Of course it was destroyed when I opened it, now they want me to return it, and. WAIT FOR MY $75.00, till they get the broke one back. It's not even the color of the one I ordered. NEVER AGAIN! The site protects the shipper, but not the buyers! $75.00 DOWN THE DRAIN, NOW I AM WITH A DAMAGED TABLET, THAT DOESN'T WORK. TRASH!

I paid for so many things on here an I know theyre the Chinese cheap stuff I knew this. There were 3 items that I havent even recieved an when I contacted them they sent me this bs email saying look around everywhere. Like as if I hadnt like wtf... the only thing that I have ordered that I dont mind was the iPad but then my daughter went to charge it an it was a damn American plug FML. I still have 5 more items to arrive once they do I wont be shopping on here EVER EVER AGAIN. Absolutely BS

Ordered Tablet on March 31. Today is May 31, with the latest tracking from USPS saying it was in New York on April 22. I could WALK to New York in 5 weeks. I give up, I am tired of waiting, I want my money back.

I think that this app is very amazing and well put together. You only pay if you win and bids are free. Unlimited bidding. And you always find something just for you or even nifty little gifts for friends or family.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
