Most of the items are misrepresented, but some are a great deal. It is a fun auction and very addictive. I wish the delivery was faster. I also would like to see the items sent in their original boxes or package.
I've ordered several things off this site. Some things come (like the dash cam) and its not what was auctioned. It worked fine but it was missing a HDMI & AVOUT port like the description, the picture & the instructions that came with it said it was suppose to have. I order the GO Cam which was amazing. I will continue to bid on items although they arent EXACTLY what its suppose to be I'll still take it for rhe price.

Most of the goods come from China and a lot of them are poor quality, but what do you expect for low monies. My gripe is the customer service is almost nonexistent. A bag I paid £21 had a broken zip when it arrived. They wanted it sent back with tracking. That was over £53. Complained to Customer Service who put £10 in my account to spend on a future auction. They don`t care about customers. BEWARE if you have to return an item YOU WILL PAY WAY WAY OVER WHAT THE ITEM IS WORTH. I`ll NEVER buy anything from these +++ artists again. BEWARE!

Tophatter will always process refunds for buyers upon receiving a valid tracking number from them indicating that the order has been returned to the seller. Tophatter offers Buyer Protection in the form of a 30-day Easy Return policy that will either: 1.) refund the buyer without return needed, 2.) provide the buyer with a prepaid return label, or 3.) present the buyer with the seller's address to return the item, paying for their own return postage with valid tracking number.
On our platform, refunds or prepaid return labels are provided to U.S.-based buyers until the buyer hits a threshold for free returns.
For internationally located buyers, we provide some store credit to offset some of the cost of returning the item at their own expense until the buyer hits the threshold.

I purchased an IWB holster. When it was delivered I of course tried it out right away. I know the holster will have to stretch out to what I'm putting in it. Problem is the belt clip on the holster won't clip around the belt tight enough to keep the holster in place. Really unimpressed with this item!

Most of all items I have bid on are receive in excellent condition. Item I'm not satisfied with the return policy fast and excellent.

I have ordered a lot from Tophatter. I was so excited in the beginning because I thought I was getting great deals. When I started receiving the products, I have to say most of them were a 3 star rating or less. The jewelry looked very cheap. There is only a handful of items I would consider 4 or 5 stars. I am sorry, but just trying to be truthful.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
