Initial reworking of the CV was excellent and to be fair that was the hard part. Editing process wasn't great, they only give you a week and my writer took the whole time to come back with the second draft following my initial comments. But as I say I was most interested in cutting my CV down and making it more punchy, which they definitely did.
This company are all about algorithms. Artificial Intelligence based! Emails seem to be dated incorrectly and templated. Rey impersonal. They don't want to get to know you or your past history. They remove key and critical roles in my career. It's been nearly a month and still not happy with the draft. I will end up writing my own now. I paid in good faith and there is no refund policy. I was allocated a writer who appeared not to know my business of FM or HSE. Speed is not everything. Quality should be the aim. Would never use these people again. My original CV will still have to be number one. Not TopCV. 3/10. Be careful what you wish for.
The first CV they sent me had clearly been written by AI or possibly by someone with an English dictionary who doesn't speak the language. The revised one looked like it was corrected by someone learning English. Fair play, I couldn't write a CV in Indian or Chinese, so I guess it's an impressive attempt. But as a CV it was garbage.

I liked the result of my CV, but I felt I had to make sure they were keeping up with the work. I even had to call the company a few times to verify they were on top. They were always very nice and answered every question on the phone and complemented it via email.

Please do not fall for the hype like I did. This was a late-night impulse buy, and I regret it very much. I went for the premium package; I was promised a senior writer who should have been working with me. After receiving the firs disappointing drafts, I provided detailed feedback. Still, my writer showed no sign of having taken this into account, he read my comments hastily and re-hashed a couple of sentences here and there with no care and no attention. I will have to re-write the CV and letter myself. No sign of the LinkedIn profile so far. Contacted support, got no reply. There is a reason why these people do not offer refunds. Avoid.

It's a great service with professional writers. Thanks to a very friendly and pro writer, I am satisfied with the results. However, if you think you could do better, just go for it. I believe they writers know how to put more emphasis on your strength points and describe them in a pro way. As far as I am concerned, it's a great help if you could collaborate well with the writers towards building up the good CV. Also, in an age where computers do the job instead of HR, simply we have to make sure we could go through the computerized filters.
Subpar writing, could have wrote the CV myself. Repetitive with tons of grammar errors. My writer would not consider any of my suggestions I asked and PAID for, and would every time would say their work was "the best". Never received any revisions. Literally feel like TopCV stole $130 from me. DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY FOR PROFESSIONAL WRITING SERVICES
Do not use this company! My first draft arrived written so badly in immediately asked for a rewrite and the second one was full of grammatical errors. I emailed asking them to have a look at the CV drafts as they were not fit for purpose and asked for a refund. This was refused! So I am now out of pocket after paying for a service I didn't receive. They won't respond to my emails either. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
