Certainly tidied up my own CV but unfortunately the first recruitment agent that saw it said it didn't do me justice. I think TopCV meet the requirements for online CV readers that automatically search for certain words and phrases but the CV does not come across as a professionally written document.
You clearly get what you pay for as I realise other CV writers, that are more geared towards executive/professional job hunters, are four times the price.
Happy with my new CV, LinkedIn profile and cover letter. TopCV got my CV down to 2 pages and accurately summed up my experience and skills. Plus I like having a good cover letter I can amend where necessary.

I had 2 writers - incompetent. Made up job titles that I didn't even have on my CV. 1 writer admitted copying job descriptions form the internet. I paid for cover letter and CV and they still have my money and I have no CV or letter. I cannot apply for jobs. They will not refund.

As per the title I found this to be a very helpful service. I do intend to use the full service of a professional CV cover letter and LinkedIn profile but even in the immediate the tips provided for free helped me update my CV considerably and as such I am far more confident presenting the CV than I was a week ago.
I purchased CV & Cover letter. I was given a deadline when this would be finished by and when all editing had to be finished by. Got letter and CV draft quite quickly. Immediately replied with amendments required. Heard nothing for 7 days and that then went beyond deadline. Also needed to get new CV out to employers as deadline for these were looming. Spoke to CS and they said the writer would be in touch within 24 hours. 48hrs still nothing. Had to finish it myself so I could meet application deadlines. Have contacted CS via email requesting a refund. Let's hope they can at least honour this request

This is an automated/impersonal money making machine. I paid 216 GBP for an Executive CV rewrite just to receive a mediocre document that I found so much below any reasonable standards (full of bombastic words and so disconnected from my career aspirations and intentions) that I decided it's not even worth the time to attempt any revision to it.
In short, I got a significantly better service and more personal experience from a 40 GBP service.
