Ordered hoverboard, took my money, no email showing confirmation. I emailed them and they gave me a phony tracking number. Then they claim customs took it. Then they said there is a problem refunding my money! FRAUD! I filed a claim with paypal, hopefully they can reverse the charges!
Terrible. Ordered H Board for son for Christmas stayed in pending status for over 10 days and shows as Shipped today 12/23/15... I paid extra for shipping because it was a gift. It is impossible to find contact number (on purpose) and no body responds to emails. I asked for a refund 5 days ago and they have shipped it anyway. DO NOT SHOP HERE.
**** Update 12/29/15**** Still have not been contacted back by company. Still have not received HBoard. Went to tracking number they gave me and it is not a real tracking number. Luckily, I paid through paypal. I contacted them and they are refunding my money. ONCE AGAIN DO NO SHOP HERE WWW.TOMTOP.COM
Order Dec 1, item shipped Dec 5, tracking number is untracked. Tried calling dhl was only able to send email. Email sent to tomtop, all replies are no worries my friend your item had been shipped, however, where is it, why are you all not communicating better. All the while my funds have been taking from paypal. Today is Dec 23, and they say 2 to 3 weeks for package to arrive.
Just found out that they canceled my Hoverboard order... three days before Christmas. Didn't send any notification until I called. Took two days for them to answer, and then they hung up on me twice before I could get the info. Lies, lies as to the reason. Said they are not selling them anymore, but there are still plenty on their active Website. Website said 3-5 days, he told me that was a mistake and it would have taken more than 20 if the order went through. Way to ruin Christmas.
This company will no answer you emails or track your order this is a horrible company to order from take your money and go somewhere else I have been waiting a month for a Christmas present still not here will have to spend extra money now Stsy away from this company
Do not listen to reviews complaint about hoverboards. Due to problems with the batteries many carriers will not transport them now. It is not Tomtops fault. Read the news.
I ordered a quadcopter from them on 11/30/15. I paid the extra shipping charge to get it here faster. First my order said SHIPPED then it changed to ON HOLD. When I finally got ahold of them via e-mail they stated the item had been returned back to them because the shipper wouldn't transport it because of the lipo battery's. They stated they could resend it by another shipper and It would take 10 to 15 days to recieve. So I agreed and they also gave me a refund for the difference in shipping. Most of my wait time was not from them but from the ISC Sort Facilities where packages comes into the US. I got my package 12 days after it shipped out from china. It took a day and a half to leave china then entered the US at the ISC Sort Facility where customs are and it set there for almost 9 days. Then finally once it left there it was a day and a half from Miami FL to East Tennessee on my doorstep. THANKS TOMTOP.COM HOPE TO DO MORE BUSINESS IN THE FUTURE! Tomtop is a scam company they take your money and don't give you what you order I order a Segway from them on nov 24 and they never shipped it they only make a shipping label never shipped my order out I had to make a claim thro PayPal but that doesn't help my child's Christmas morning she was really upset cause she didn't get the one thing she really wanted for Christmas somebody needs to shuts this company down so they will stop screwing people
I ordered a hoverboard for my grandson. It was supposed to have been shipped on the 10th of December and today is the 18th. I emailed them with no response. I called a phone number listed and they said something in some foreign language then hangs up. I am calling PayPal today. Now my grandson want get anything from me. I spent all of my allowance on that! I could just cry!
So relieved that they finally came! It took about a month by they are here!
I wouldnt recommend this website to anyone and i wont never use it again. I ordered a hoverboard November 27th and after 5 days when my order was still processing, i called the number it told me to call for customer support and it was a dead end... Then i chose to email them and i got a response, but i was pretty positive they took my money. But as I came home from school on December 17th I got my package and everything looks pretty legit and in place... 20 days isnt a bad shipping time but they could atleast or should inform you about what phase your product is in

Why is Chinese company Shenzhen TOMTOP Technology Co., Ltd issuing VAT invoices in the name of a UK company TomorrowTop LTD & why are they using a VAT number that is not registered to either of them? What safety guard’s do you have to ensure that this seller is declaring VAT on all their eBay accounts & sales? Has Shenzhen TOMTOP Technology Co., Ltd paid their VAT liability of £1,335,648.00 a year from their 21+ eBay accounts?
It may seem like a scam, but it is not, items are coming from China, over 100,000 items daily, they have to go through customs and all that I thought it was a fake website at first because they took my money quick, but my hoverboard came today, FedEx dropped it off, I am very happy with my new toy
I live in NYC and ordered a Hoverboard. It took 3 weeks to finally arrive. In the interim, I emailed twice for a tracking # or status update. Got email responses that looked bogus and linked to a FedEx tracking number that did not seem to relate to my order. The 2nd email had a tracking # that worked on a 3rd party Chinese courier website. Seems they switch to FedEx only after it gets to the US. However, Hoverboard is exactly as described and cool as hell to ride. Well packaged and so far no fire/explosion. Instructions in very poor English. No warranty.
I was waiting for what seemed to be forever for our son's Xmas gift. It did finally show up this afternoon! What a scare. I never received a good tracking number and had some strange email exchange with the seller, I'm just grateful it arrived.
I've bought from Tomtop twice. Both times, my items (a USB WiFi adapter and a Xiaomi Miband) have arrived promptly, were genuine as described and continue to work well. I will buy from them again as they have a good range of products and are easy to deal with.
Ordered electronic Nov. 28th. Couldn't get hold of anyone there via phone or get them to respond to emails to track order. They sent email saying item was shipped on Dec 5th via ups' unicycle courier with a bogus tracking #. Called ups. They had no record of the shipment. Had to dispute charge with my bank... all the while... still no package!
Tomtop is very bad seller, they have highest prices and not good supporting. I have bought a smartband called Wanka K2 Mini, it stops working forever after 2 days and they refund only a half of amount that I paid.
Also they emailed all customers and promise that they will give $10 coupon for each good review on three 3 websites. But they do nothing, no responding after I sent them the links of 3 reviews.

Answer: Simple answer is NO they will not refund your purchase. Doesn't matter what the reason is. Best bet is to go through your Credit Card if you can - I'm assuming you haven't purchased item yet. My story a while back is... I made a $5 purchase for a tackle box from TOMTOP through eBay. TOMTOP seems like they have several accounts under eBay. I have made a total of two purchases under their different accounts. Both items were for a tackle box. The first purchase was never received and waited 2 or 3 months (I can’t recall) for it to arrive as they described in the listing. TOMTOP’s customer service is excellent when they are selling or in the process of selling you an item. The problem starts when you have to make a claim or return an item. Well they kindly assured me to wait all the way until eBay’s money back guarantee was gone (I think this is within 30 days). I could’ve gone through my credit card for refund but since this was only $5 it was not worth it. Writing the bad review here was fulfilling to me. The second time I bought the tackle box from TOMTOP through eBay arrived quickly this time. The only difference was that they were under different Ebay account holders. I would have liked to leave them bad feedback but didn’t since I did receive the tackle box. Now why did I purchase from them the second time? It was because I didn’t expect to receive it and wanted to go through eBay for the money back and leave the bad feedback……………. Moral of story…. Don’t purchase from TOMTOP unless you can eat the loss.

Answer: Smart buyers who don't know about TomTop will read the 1-star reviess. Shipping from TomTop is rather quick -- in my case it was only 8 days. What takes so much time is getting your defective product replaced or getting your money back -- in my case it was over 13 weeks. Good Luck.

TomTop, like most Chinese sellers, pay customers to post good reviews of their products and many have employees who post positive reviews as well. If you buy from TomTop, chances are very good you will be writing another one of those 1-star reviews three or four months from now.

Answer: Please, please, please start the complaints procedure now. Do not wait any longer, they lie and you will lose your money. They buy time and make phoney excuses. Read the good reviews of Tomtop again - you will spot similarities in the poor gramma and spelling - THEY ARE FAKE and planted reviews by Tomtop to offset the genuine complaints. DO NOT USE TOMTOP.
