TollFreeForwarding Reviews Summary

The company demonstrates a mixed reputation based on customer feedback. Positive aspects include commendations for reliable service, effective call management, and responsive customer support, with several customers praising the ease of setup and overall functionality. However, significant concerns arise regarding transparency, with numerous complaints about misleading pricing, aggressive billing practices, and inadequate communication during account verification processes. Many customers express frustration over perceived scams related to free trials and hidden fees. This dichotomy suggests a need for the company to address transparency and customer trust to enhance its overall service experience.

My company has been doing business with tollfreeforwarding.com for years and it has always been a satisfying experience. We are a small travel agency based in Anaheim with contact centers all over the world. Tollfreeforwarding allows us to easily manage all of those centers from our home office.

The best part is, whenever we need to change our service to accommodate our customer needs, it has been very easy. Their customer service specialists are very polite and helpful and clearly valued my time. I would recommend tollfreeforwarding to anyone who wants to do business overseas.

My family's business recently started taking on an international customer base, and we established a Toll Free # w/ tollfreeforwarding.com and have not had any problems. It was easy to set up, and their customer service line was extremely helpful in developing a line that was optimized for our small family business. They're pricing was much better than some of the alternative services we looked into. Highly recommend this service for small businesses!

I've recently switched over from phone.com to tollfreeforwarding.com and couldn't be happier. The system is so much easier to use, with many more features, and so many ways of using call forwarding. I highly recommend them!

I have used tollfreeforwarding for 2 years. It was working quite good, but one day there was an error, the error was my fault but since Tollfreeforwarding has no charging limit, they kept billing my credit card until all my limit on the card was gone! 2000 dollars in a few hours, when I normally spend 100 dollars a month.

They said they have no limits because some company´s may spend thousands a day. But that is absurd, because I don't spend thousands a day so I would prefer to have a limit in case issues like this occur.

I closed my account with them and never going to use their services again.

They have the nicest service while you are on their free trial. Will take all your details and create an account for you. They will be super friendly and nice to build rapport with you. As soon as the trial expires that is when the trouble starts.

I had not even launched my business at this stage so I had no reason for calls to come in. As soon as the trial ended, tollfreeforwarding began a massive prank calling campaign using the number that was supplied to me. All these people began calling me back causing my bills to sky rocket. If I had an existing business, it would have been hard to see that all of these calls where fabricated by tollfreeforwarding themselves. Lucky for me, I was 3 days from launching my business so I picked up and tried to cancel my account with them. They refused and ignored my emails and charged me for calls that I had not even made or needed. They did not have an account deletion on their site and would not respond to urgent requests to cancel my account. I was forced to call my bank and cancel my card causing annoyances with my other billing accounts.

NEVER use these guys ever. Stay away. Do not get tricked by their friendly initial service and do not fall for their online shilling. They even have numerous fake "review blogs" and websites saying how good they are. These guys are a complete and utter scam.

I have being using this company for a number of years, but as of lately, they have become unreliable and billing is just insane. They charged my card $900 for a bill that should have being 200. Seriously it got so bad, I had to delete my card from their system, but they still charge it. Just an awful company and be well advised to stay away..

The worst
December 1, 2013

The worst. (Not that we have others to compare against.) I concur with other clients!
We were disconnected this morning WITHOUT notice. Due to credit card expiration. A card rarely used.
Well they sent us an email. Overnight, the night before. They claim another one came in a month ago. BS.
We never got it. We checked spam.
Credit card on file literally expired end of Nov 2013. They cut us off today, 12/1.
They claim to have sent out ONE email. For a client with several phone numbers!
INADEQUATE.
Web site takes forever to send password.
Woman on phone, Mia, was so rude and condescending.
In addition, we've found the call quality over the past 5 years has been largely unacceptable. We usually call our clients back so we can hear them.

Mine is worst and I feel Pathetic too.
3 years Ago I helped a friend of mine setting up a business and we came across tollfreeforwarding.com and I suggested him start using this one. And he and me actually liked it after using them for some time. And since then anyone who needed a tollfree, I have been spreading good mouth about them and I actually gave them some new customers.
But eventually when I made up my mind to setup my own business, I too considered them and after 21-22 days when all of my customers (new and old) had this number they suspended my account, They wanted some documents for security measures. Okay I did that though I knew anyone of my friends didn't go through this. Took 24 hrs, 48 hrs, 52 hours. It was costing me my business. Finally they said they still have doubt so asked me for some other which would have taken another 24 hours.
And I quit from there. Because a company being into business if fails to understand that all the customers I gained in 21 days, don't want to loose them because our tollfree wasnt working, its shame. I understand security part but I would have considered if my card would have declined or I might not have paid dues or lastly my business would have registered in some third world countries while its a llc and registered in USA.

They take take decisions on your behalf and recharge your account according to the last month's usage. If I would have predicted the usage, then why would I have chosen the $9 plan, and paid them more for the calls.

I just spoke to your customer care executive regarding the billing issue and the $ 54 charge, he was rude, unprofessional, and disconnected the call when he did not have a satisfying answer. I was shocked when I came to know that there are such unprofessional employees working with a brand name like tollfreeforwarding. We also work for customer service, but employees like them kicked out of the organization very soon.

He said "I know thousands of call centers working in India, and none of them have such questions,. Why did you opt for a plan of $9 if you knew that u have more usage"

Tollfreeforwarding has such smart employees who have great ideas, and knowledge, but lack telephone etiquette.

I was actually happy with this service until today. I have had an account with them since 2008 for my business. It is set up for reoccurring billing and I haven't monitored this account at all (yes, shame on me). I discovered today that we have been getting billed for TWO numbers instead of just the 1 I signed up for. The second number magically appeared in my account 1 month after I signed up for this service. They have no documentation on who signed up for the second phone number. The few voicemails I can find with this second account number are people calling a different company - we were getting charged for another company's number. The customer service people were very rude and said it was my fault for not catching this sooner and will not refund me for the second number. This reeks of a scam and I am incredibly unhappy with this company.

I've been using tollfeeforwarding for 3.5 years now and they are much better than Verizon. Verizon was doing my call forwarding to the UK, but they charged a boatload and it took over a week to change the forwarding number back tot he USA. When I asked Verizon about getting a UK tollfree number, they had no idea what I was talking about adn I got transferred many times and had to call several phone numbers. When I finally got someone at Verizon who said they could get a UK tollfree number, they said it would take 4-6 weeks to setup.

That's when I googled and found tollfreeforwardng and they had numbers AVAILABLE on their website. So, I signed up and had a wording number within a few minutes. A few minutes later Derek called me from tollfreeforwarding and asked if I needed help - I about fell out of my seat. I just use their website to change the forwarding number whenever I want. I couldn't believe i was wasting my time with Verizon.

I don't know why these people below think it's a not a reliable company, maybe they weren't serious customers. I've had realy good service from them. One time I thought my Mexico tollfree number wasn't working, but it turns out my customer was trying to call from the USA which they said isn't possible. I believe them since their people know so much more about international telecom than anyone I ever talked to at Verizon. Because of the complaints below, i was concerned about not being able to cancel. I asked them about it and they said you just need to call and they will give you a cancellation number so you have proof - seems reasonable to me.

Definitely a scam
September 20, 2011

Definitely a scam. They charged me for 4 numbers and they never worked. Their customer support are rude and they hang up on me. I paid for their service and they don't want to refund my money nor fix or replace the numbers they gave me. I am really disappointed with their service.

We use several of their number and have had them for years. They are reliable and the call quality is every bit as good as a standard land line. We would recommend them.
