I ordered the tires thinking I would have enough time to get the wheels cleaned up and ready but the tires showed up before I had the wheels ready, but I would prefer that over waiting for the tires to come. This was some fast service, highly recommend using tire rack!

Tire Rack simply offers more access to more brands. That means not just matching existing tires, but a diverse range of features, quality, and value. Try this at your local tire shop and they usually only give you one or two choices. Big difference. I say this not because I'm anti-local, but because they can do better. They can forge alliances and get more brands from more distributors... but, that takes effort. I think you get it. I like the company that puts in the extra effort.

I try to patronize the brick and mortar where possible but the selection and price is often too great to resist here. I prefer the POTENZA RE980 AS+ and other shops never have it available or need an act of Congress to get it. The installation part can be annoying though.
No problem with tire selection and purchase - site has great tools and prices. But when I selected an installer, I was forced to try to set an appointment and the page was stuck in a cyclical "loading" loop. Drove me crazy. I had to quick click the "next" button at the bottom of the reloaded page to move forward. Got an unwanted appointment time as a result. Crazy.
