The Tirerack website and shopping experience are a go to resource for tire and wheel shoppers and have been for years. That part of the buying process was really flawless as was the delivery to my selected installer. The appointment portion of the install left me with a sour taste in my mouth. My chosen installer was A Firestone in Oak Lawn IL. I made my purchase 4 days prior to my appointment and delivery was made two days prior to my install time. The email from the installer clearly states that if the requested appointment time is unavailable they will contact you and another appointment can be made. On the morning of my 10am appointment I got a call at 745am from the installer stating that my appointment time is unavailable. Needless to say my plans for the day were shot. Just poor service. I had to go and find an alternative installer prior to my planned road trip.

Ordering the tires that I wanted, by tire size, was easy from the website. I purchased my tires on Wednesday and they were delivered on Thursday afternoon to the service center that I wanted. Thank You and 5 Stars to the Tire Rack staff!

My yired weren't balanced and the front passenger tire was loose enough to wobble. That could have been tragic and should be something that has a second approves sign off.
It doesn't actually show that I want tire rack to install my tires. Mounting and balancing. And the price didn't change. So did get mounting and balancing?
