I ordered 4 235/45ZR-17 CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 SL. I received 2 of the tires and discovered that the tires had a very old manufacture date of ". 0320" or 19 months old. I called customer service and spoke with a rep (women) who told me that all the tires of that model all have that date and are not considered old. I asked her to check tire racks stock at other distribution centers. She politely told me there were no tires newer than that without switching to another Continental tire. Today I received the 2 other tires with manufacture date of 0920. I depend on your company for accurate information. These tires are almost 2 year old before being installed! The manufacture date is important information and tires as old as this should be made known prior to purchase. Needless to say the rep gave me wrong information on purpose or should she have told the truth about what was known.

I just purchased a '17 Jeep Wrangler JKU and it was in desperate need of new tires. I decided to upgrade from factory wheels at this time as well. I tried to do some in person tire shopping but was never able to get the info I was looking for until tech at Firestone told me about tirerack.com. I love that I can see the wheels on my specific vehicle. I wish I could also see the tires mounted on the wheels that I've chosen but that's a minor issue. Being able to purchase an entire package was fantastic - as a newbie to the wheel/tire game myself I was afraid I would buy something that wouldn't fit my vehicle specs or miss an important part but the site made it effortless! They arrived a day earlier than expected - less than 72 hours later. We just installed them this weekend and I couldn't be happier!

The products themselves (tires and wheels) were perfect, exactly what I expected and hoped for. The wrinkle, a minor one, and the reason this is a 4 star review rather than a 5, is that three of the wheels came with centering spacers, one did not. This resulted in me having to call customer service. Customer service initially said they'd ship the fourth spacer ring, but then contacted me the next day saying that the centering space rings where unnecessary, and to discard them. Albert, in customer service, had taken the time to research the problem and his conclusion that the rings were not needed was accurate. Kudos to Albert, not so much to whoever shipped the three wheels with centering spacers in the first place.
Good to go on the tire, but paid extra for expedited shipping and FedEx inexplicably sent the tires back and forth across the country.
