Tire Rack may not be the lowest price, but the claims process for road hazards and the coverage (free!) is worth the price. Especially when compared to others where after their road hazard is added the price is more than Tire Rack, so be careful. Plus I get to use my local business (supporting a small town business) for the installation.

The warranty claim was rejected by your provider because it was not approved prior to ordering the tire. Your sales rep did not inform of this, but should have.

Historically, a few years back, Tirerack would send you the tires and schedule your install locally, making it so you were responsible for getting your tires there. These days they ship it to the install site! However I did not realize I'd also be paying an install fee there. I guess I thought it was deducted in advance.
Smoothish. Last time, around 2019 or 2020, I used Tire Rack but the experience wasn't as smooth. This time around it seems they ship the tires to the installer. Last time, they sent me the tires and put me in touch with Firestone. I then had to stick all those tires god knows where (somehow I did it thought) and drive them over to Firestone.
Good price and good service. The tier got damage in one week. Not y0ur fault.
