My shopping experience was seamless, particularly also I am using my favorite installer, my mechanic who did another install for me in the past and his address and all relevant addresses were stored in my account with Tire Rack, so I had much less filling up. First time buying through tire rack but with installation at Discount Tire. Made an appointment with Discount Tire and waited about 10 minutes to talk to someone. After that, dropped off the wheels and got a call that they were ready 30 minutes later. Pretty smooth.

I truthfully must say that this was a disappointing experience. After selecting my tires and purchasing them the system ask me to select an installer from there list and have the tires shipped to them unless I preferred to take them myself to a different installer. I made my choice and I failed to read the price the installer would charge to mount the tires. The one I selected was over $200 which would make the total cost way more if I would have choses another Tire Distributer. I asked to have the tires shipped to a different installer which they agreed. I received a confirmation that the tires were delivered but it showed the original installer instead of the new installer. I basically had to chase down exactly who had my tires as the Fed Ex delivery just showed the City it was delivered in and they did not get anyone to sign. Several phone calls later I located my tires and hope to get them installed in the next two days. I know that I failed to read the charges from the installer to mount the tires, but still this was a frustrating experience and I would advise anyone looking to purchase that you clearly understand the process and fee charges for a total cost of any new tire purchase.

Looking for replacements for my Escape with off-branded tires,had good experience in the past with Pirelli,but was on back order at Discount,so went to Tire rack and they had them in stock
