Had a very disappointing experience with the company that warranties the tires. After some research it was easy to find many other customers had the same problems. This was 2018. Four Sumotomo tires. A week after the install, one picked up a piece of metal and went flat. My installer communicated everything about the tire, condition, damage and the fact that he had JUST installed the set a week earlier. The company rep refused to take the supplied info stating they needed additional info from me FIRST. I had already spoken to them and was the one who directed them to my installer. After two or three days of warranty runaround my installer had to get the damaged tire out of his shop. Then they asked for the info he had supplied them days earlier. In the end I had to pay for another tire. Reviews of other customers … same thing. It's clear the delay tactics are in hopes that tire will be discarded as auto shops don't have any where to put them- safety hazard issues. I hope by now Tire Rack has selected a more reputable company to back their products.

I like the site where I can overload on charts, customer ratings, and photos of tires to come up the final selection...and not necessarily the one with the "best" ratings, but best for me. I like that they can provide a list of installers to use, and have them sent to.
