Very easy to navigate and found the exact same tires that I have now, thanks
I ordered 4 new tires and had them 24 hours later. I had them balanced and mounted and I am very happy with my new tires from Tirebuyer!
Love the prices, love the service, always happy with Tire Buyer!
Lots of items in stock to choose from. Easy transaction.
Qwik and easy. It was faster delivery ever. I ordered tires on Friday morning at 6a.m. They were delivered next day, yes Saturday. I live in Maine tires came from the Carolina's. Also had best prices I could find.
I spent $640 on a new set of tires just over a year ago. At the time of purchase, there were no less than two different areas on the advertisement page stating there was a 2-year road hazard replacement warranty with the tires.
Yesterday, I suffered a sidewall blowout while on my way to school. I was over 50-miles from home, in the desert, with no cell phone. Fortunately, I had a spare tire and was able to limp home.
When I called Tirebuyer customer service, the representative told me there was a 2-year warranty and he wrote up the claim. The following day, I received an email from a different person stating that I did not have a warranty coverage because of the "series", which, as a layman consumer, I had no idea what he was talking about.
Apparently, on a pdf that can be downloaded from their site, the manufacturer has exclusions for tires with a ratio of 40 or below. This exclusion however is not applicable in all states. However, they do not list these states, so there is no way of knowing if my state is exempt from this exclusion.
Either way, this company is a scam because they initially mislead the customer with false advertising and downloadable pdf's hidden behind links are no substitute for what was is stated in the original sale ad.
I took out a student loan, specifically so that I could commute to school. To have one blow out the morning of my first day back to spring classes and miss school has me livid. I hate being ripped off, and I will be filing a small claims suit if I do not get a replacement tire quick-like.

Definitely made a huge mistake ordering from this site. They do not care about the customer and will be out of business within the year. Never again!
I ordered 2 tires and they only sent 1, then lied and said wait 48 hours before they would do anything then it was another 48 hours, then said they were delivered and were going to cheat me out of a tire. Then they finally sent another only to make it wrong so i did not get it, then after another 48 hours they said it was delivered.
They do nothing correct and refuse to do anything to get you the tire. I had to spend hours to finally get my tire. The only reaon I got it was because I had to prove I did not get the tire.
Do not buy from them
It seems like all the 1 star reviews share the same story, tirebuyer maybe didn't/doesn't have the best way of alerting you that tires are out of stock and your order has been cancelled. I can't speak to that, as my tires turned out to be in stock, and my experience was flawless. I was contacted a day to two after placing the order to confirm the installation appointment time, and I was able to confirm that my tires had already been delivered. A day before the installation appointment I contacted the local installer and was able to confirm all my order details and that the tires had in fact been delivered. Then, I showed up at the scheduled appointment, the installation fee was as described during the order process, and I got my new tires installed without issue. And because of some discounts tirebuyer was running, I paid significantly less than any other option available to me. Perfect experience all around.
The tires may be cheaper than at your local installer, but they are in fact CHEAP! I had my first ever tire blowout while on the turnpike, just 3 months after purchasing them. And to top it all off, the warranty center through this company is a joke! They took 2 weeks to get back to me, after I hounded them every day after the first week, and the one email they sent me was so vague, that I didn't' know I was supposed to have the vehicle inspected before getting the replacement tire installed. Also, the warranty form they sent me had someone else's order information on it, because the order number written in for me was wrong, and the date said May 12,2022 - when I bought the tires in late August 2022. The customer service representative told me that they will charge my original card the amount for the replacement -- welcome to 2022 when you can change your card numbers straight from the app, so good luck getting that money.
They are a scam, made Order on the 13th for $300+...2 days later cancelled because they were "out of stock". Made another order on 17th different set of tires $300+. 4 days go by with ZERO updates so I decide to message chat support who then tells me this order was cancelled due to "out of stock". This is not a coincidence. They are taking $ knowing they cannot fulfill. Any positive reviews are very clearly paid for/fake. Do not waste your time, energy or money on this place.
Tires couldn't be balanced. We were out of town for a bit and don't drive our truck much. Tired to get them balanced 2 more times. Contacted them first told they would refund them, then said they could only refund 2. Then stopped replying and it was too late to do anything about it
I noticed AMEX had a 8% rebate on a purchase from Tirebuyer. I have been a customer of TireRack since 1985, but I decided to give Tirebuyer a shot on winter tires. Their online site was easy to use, found in-stock Pirellis (the only winters that were not out of stock), choose Spiffy as an installer, and paid. Received an email acknowledgement. It was two days before the install date with nothing from Tirebuyer or Spiffy. I started a chat session with Tirebuyer, after 15 minutes I was told that my order was canceled. The chat rep never answered my follow-up questions, so I decided to call them. It was an overseas rep, and she could not explain why the tires became out of stock when their site still had them in stock. Something about "not being responsible with inventory." Fine, never going to use them again... I did get call from Spiffy the next day, and had to tell them the situation. "Simone" needed to get with their stateside Tirebuyer rep and promised to give me a call back. No surprise, I never got that call back.
I did not receive an email confirmation after purchasing. I waited a day after being told via chat that the high volume of orders was the reason. I reached back out via email to find out why I had not received a confirmation (but they sure did charge my credit card right away!) and they just canceled my order and processed a refund with no alternatives due to an 'IT error'. I think they did this because of all the discounts I used (cash back site and gov't discount). I will take my money elsewhere to more reputable companies. F Tirebuyer!
Purchased tires. Scheduled installation for 3 weeks out. Received confirmation email of purchase... then nothing more. Followed up with a "Chat" and Samad from TireBuyer quickly responded that there was a "computer glitch" and that they would refund my card. Zero offer to correct the order or reprocess.
I think that they were just using my money as long as they could.
My suggestion is that you go with another provider.
I am extremely dissatisfied with TireBuyer's installation. I specifically chose Tirebuyer because there was an installation date available this week, prior to a road trip I am taking this weekend. I received a message saying my installer can't take me until next week, which is unacceptable. I called service and they suggested I either cancel the order or pick up my tires and drive them myself to another installer! So now I have to take a day off of work, pay for gas to drive across town, lug tires in my car which will take two trips and be inconvenienced with having to find another installer all before this weekend. This is HORRIBLE customer service! I asked for them to find a way to have my tires delivered to another installer and they can't. Sending them back and waiting until next week is NOT an option. I am super unhappy with Tirebuyer and this situation.
I will NEVER buy tires from TireBuyer again. I had my tires for 2 months, and there is no warranty protection after 45 days. I have never ever had this issue when purchasing tires. I would advise anyone to go elsewhere when purchasing tires.
First of all, the appointment scheduling process was stupid. They allow you to select an appointment that is earlier than any realistic shipping timeframe. The estimated shipping time given to me on their website was 1 week, but that was unrealistically pessimistic. They allowed me to schedule an appointment in two days, but given that I ordered on Saturday and Monday was a holiday, this assumed that the tires could be shipped on Tuesday, arrive instantaneously at the shop and be installed on the same day. So I selected a Wednesday appointment, since I didn't know where the tires would ship from, but that turned out to be overly optimistic, so I got an e-mail saying they'd help me reschedule my appointment. So I called them and they said there is no estimated time of delivery, so I have to wait. Okay, then why did you send me an e-mail telling me to call you to schedule an appointment? You could have just told me to call once there is an estimated time of delivery. So I call again when the estimated delivery date appears and then they tell me they can't schedule anything until the tires are delivered. Okay, fine, why don't you just tell me that to begin with? So I call again after the tires are delivered and they say that I should call the tire installer directly, even though the previous two representatives I talked to told me to schedule it through them. The installation rate they quoted me was only half of the installation rate quoted on the tire installer's website, so I thought I should go through them to make sure they don't have an excuse to raise the price of installation like many other reviewers have complained about. So when I point out that I was previously told that I should schedule through tirebuyer, they say they will schedule it for me. Are you kidding? You just told me you couldn't schedule it and I had to call the tire installer directly? Now all of a sudden you're going to change your mind AGAIN? Anyway, the two e-mails I sent in response to their e-mails were never answered, so that's why I made phone calls. All three phone calls were a complete waste of time. They did absolutely nothing at all. Yes, I can absolutely understand why the reviews are so negative, given that their scheduling process is so incredibly stupid. Fortunately, there is a simple solution. You just ignore the staff at Tirebuyer. Do not engage in communication of any kind. It's all a waste of time. Just watch the tracking information and when it's delivered call the installer yourself. Once I called the installer, I got the tires installed at the quoted price in no time. I didn't even mention the price I was quoted for installation. They gave me the agreed upon price without me saying anything. Tirebuyer gave me an unbelievable deal on my tires, so they are a 5 star business, as long as you don't let them get involved in the scheduling part.
Waited 15 minutes to process my refund after being told tire was never shipped. I also expected a call from a supervisor as was promised the very nice customer service person. No one ever called.
Answer: Hi John, can you please email Matt directly at [email protected] and he will figure out what is happening with your tires. Thanks for reaching out, we want to make this right.
Answer: We usually ship same day, but next day at the latest. Thanks!
Answer: The prices quoted are for the tires. We do list mounting and balancing for each of our approved installers on the site and we guarantee that price.
Answer: The tires that i bought are made in China. I did not price around, i did need tires for my roto-tiller, tire buyer was the first site that i went to, that had the size tires that i needed; so i bought them. Tire buyer was not the first website i checked out. Tire buyer was the first site that i went to that had the size tires that i needed though. They are tubeless, & yes they are not cheap hard rubber tires like for lawn-mowers. I am happy with them.

Thanks for the great feedback.
