I started out on the venue website to purchase tickets. I get TicketsOnSale to make the purchase. The tickets come to me through Ticketmaster. Each link in the chain has a separate customer service. The ticket dealers both use an app that must be installed. And so on: many intermediate requirements need to be met that are unexpected, unwanted, and bothersome.
Very Simple & easy. Would like tickets immediately.

I thought I was buying tickets directly from the venue for the concert but was surprised to see an additional "service fee" of $75 per ticket for buying through an apparent reseller.
Next time I'll pay more attention to whether there is a primary seller and secondary reseller.
That said, finding the seats and price I wanted on the site was easy.
I always get a little intimidated when purchasing e tickets at my age, but this was a nice experience for once and I was able to print them.

I googled Elvis Costello tickets in Montclair. The Google ad pops up with the name of the theater, so i thought it was official. I bought the tickets. But then I realized I bought from a reseller - but it felt like it was deliberately misrepresenting what it was, based on the ad and overall flow. I paid over double for the exact same seats I would've got on Ticketmaster plus crazy fees. Not to mention, customer service couldn't even guarantee I would get the tickets before the date of the concert (since they dont have controller over the sellers). Overall terrible website.
Looking forward to this concert! I will post feedback once I have attended.
