Over Priced Tickets
April 19, 2023

I purchased AMC movie tickets on their up to 40% off sale. When we got to the theater, the regular price tickets were cheaper then the tickets on sale from tickets at work. I called customer service to explain the situation and request a refund since they marked up prices. They made a claim on my behalf in which it was denied. I will not be using them again.

Tickets over priced
April 13, 2023

I recently purchased tickets through tickets at work for a concert with the assumption the price was discounted from the venue price. The advertisement even had a slashed price indicating it was a discount with a lower price next to it. After purchasing the tickets I happen to look at the tickets on the venues webpage and found that the tickets were a lot cheaper than tickets at work. I am unable to return the tickets since I did not purchase the insurance for an extra fee. I feel that they falsely advertise on this website and take advantage of anyone looking for a deal. I spoke with a customer service rep after my realization hoping there was something they would be able to do and his response was that tickets at work assumes customer have two separate pages open to compare all prices and told me to have a nice day. I would like to warn anyone using this website to due your research before purchasing anything from tickets at work.

In January 2023 I booked round trip to Buffalo NY and a rental car at the airport. The return flight was cancelled and I was notified by email. Took a long time and many calls to get a refund. Now I am notified that the departing flight was cancelled and they rescheduled the flight that is not acceptable. I called and was told that someone would get back to me in 24 hours. That was 31 hours ago. They use a horrible travel company called Tripplanet. They never answer their phone and the number listed for them on web site is not Tripplanet. NEVER AGAIN. Tix at work, how do I reach out to you on the phone or email? We need to fix this ASAP.

Possible scammer.
April 13, 2023

Booked two round trip flights to Vegas for my birthday yesterday 4/12, didn't even receive the work discount I was supposed to receive even after logging in through my work email. Woke up this morning to an email stating my bookings were cancelled due to payment not being processed, when there is a pending charge on my account that clearly is going to go through. Then to read reviews that are absolutely terrible about this site is scary when my trip is 2 weeks away.

Booked a "3.5" star hotel, when got there not what was expected, not even close to internet pictured on tickets at work, the elevator had what looked like blood stains, the room was smelly, bed had cigarette burns on the box spring and the mattress was squeaking like crazy just by sitting on it, in the bathroom what ever toilet paper was leftover from previous people was just there for you to use, gross, the patio balcony doors had the handles removed so you could not open them with rusted holes on them. Etc! We have three kids and felt real uncomfortable so we left and asked for a refund, there was no manager available to speak to until this date, only a bogus email to contact. Spoked to tickets at work and they wanted us to go back to the place and ask management for them be able to refund and the hotel place wanted us to contact tickets at work for them to refund the money for false advertising, but we have being going back and forward and no help what so ever, they both washing their hands, but the most upsetting is that we booked thru tickets at work and they not doing nothing!

I booked a hotel on ticketsatwork.com and accidentally selected the wrong dates. I called immediately and tried to change and they said the reservation could not be modified or cancelled. Then a rep named Jose said I could call the hotel and ask for approval to change. I called the hotel and got approval to alter my dates. I was supposed to travel within 3 days of me making the reservation and told them it was important to escalate my issues. Now its the day of my travel and still no resolution! The hotel gave them authorization but they keep telling me I have to wait on the suppliers approval. Very poor customer service!

Scammers
April 5, 2023

Last Saturday (April 1st) I booked a rental via my company's discount site. Went to get the car via the rental company. I too was informed I needed a $500 hold for the duration.

Since I didn't have it, I called immediately to process a refund. This is now where the scamming begins...

While on the phone with an agent...who lacks the reasoning capabilities of the English language, this agent explained that because I didn't cancel within 48hrs prior to the date of the rental, I would have to pay $103.00. Keep in mind, all this is still on April 1st. When I mentioned that to him, the reply was "yes ok, we can begin the process and charge $103.00." Clearly a lack of understanding.

Second issue, I declined to pay the $103 and asked for this to be escalated. Got an email on Sunday afternoon saying "your request for a refund is denied...thank you for doing business with Ticketsatwork". Since I could not reply to the email because the closed the issue, I called again...

Third time I'm making a request for my refund and now they said "our partner's policy is the reason the refund won't be processed." So I called the rental company. To my immediate surprise, the rental company said the opposite, meaning I should get a full refund and even provided a case number, placed it on file for Ticketsatwork to review and process.

Called Ticketsatwork and provided all the details and this was their response. "Was this from an actual person or virtual assistant? Was it approved by a manager? Do you have it in writing? We will need 72hrs to review with our partners. Please note this does not mean a full refund."

I'm still waiting and I dear, they will someone how lose my information and say the case was closed.

Hence I this "company" as nothing more than a scam.

I purchased 4 tickets to the Monster Jam thinking I would save money and gave decent seats. WRONG. When I got there another family was in my seats...that I paid for. The embarrassment of having to walk back to the car after paying for parking with 2 kids screaming and yelling because we missed the show because Ford Field couldn't accommodate us. That was almost $250 WASTED and I saved up for this event.

When I contacted tickets at work customer service. He acted like he was an advocate and was going to help me get my money back. Turns out the tickets are final sell and I can't get a refund and I had to reach back out to them after almost a week for that update. I WILL DEFINITELY GO TO MORE DRASTIC MEASURES TO GET MY MONEY BACK

DO NOT USE TICKETS AT WORK...UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND POSSIBLY LOSING MONEY)

The 1st and the last time I will use this company. This is supposed to be a benefit for employees to get discount tickets, please do not buy anything from this company unless you for sure that you won't anticipate getting sick and may need to reschedule. I purchased 2 tickets to a play, spent 260.00 dollars and got sick and called them to get rescheduled only to be told that there was nothing they can do to help me. The Venue itself was willing to give me replacement tickets but "because" I bought them from Tickets at Work, they could not help me. Buyers be aware of their policy and you could lose your monies like I did. Pay the full price with the Venue, you will be safe.

They list all tickets as $0 Tax/fees in a very prominent way, but when you pay, they bump the tax/fees by 8%-10% of the total price! The same tickets are for sale in the official venues' websites without charging tax/fees additionally! For example, if you buy the Go City passes, the official website gives you a better price with their always on promotions!

See the order details at gocity.com at the last step of checkout versus the ticketsatwork.com order details in a confirmation email (the one that starts with "Product Information").

Will advise everyone to avoid this shady website!

I purchased an airline ticket in January for United Airlines. I paid extra to make it an open-ended ticket due to being at the Mayo Clinic. I had to cancel the ticket due to being at the hospital longer. The ticket was refunded to TicketsatWork the day I canceled the ticket. I called and asked when I would see the refund in my account. I was told 1-2 billing cycles. (30-60 days) I have spoken with their customer service on four different occasions and have been told you will have it in your account in 15 days as soon as we can confirm we have received the refund. My receipt shows it was refunded to their visa card. We all know that they have received the refund. We would never see it if people didn't call and ask about their money. I am still waiting for my $500 three months later!

Updated review!
March 27, 2023

UPDATE: I reached out to the social media team for tickets at work and within 24 hours my tickets were back in my hands. They did more for me in a day than anyone else i reached by phone or email did in 5 days! If you ever need assistance, social media is the way to go!

I only gave 1 star because zero wasn't an option. This place is an absolute joke! My account was hacked, the way my situation has been handled leads me to believe that it was hacked from within tickets at work. No one can fix anything and I've gotten the same runaround over and over! They some how can't retransfer or recall my tickets, but the tickets I purchased are being resold on ticketsatwork.com right now.

HORRIBLE
March 22, 2023

They are great at making you feel like you're about to save money, receive awesome customer service, etc. Please either use another middle man or simply go direct even if it costs a few more bucks. I had an issue with car rental through tickets at work: things went sour, I was told they would help me obtain my money back, however within seconds I was told I would get nothing and the case was closed. No further investigation, no refund, no "first time user courtesy," NOTHING! Please don't be fooled. Please read through all reviews, as you'll see none are good. I wish CVS (my employer) would kill their contract with these liars and scammers.

I tried booking a trip on Monday mar 13th I put my cc info in and everything it then came back and said flight not available try booking again. I got no confirmation number or email or anything because it did not book and when I called they have no record of my booking by phone or email they asked if I used a different phone number or email. I explained I obviously did not. My credit card was charged for the booking I have No confirmation numbers and they have no record of my booking this is a complete scam. When calling to get a refund or ask them about the charges they just give me a different phone number to call. I have been given 7 different phone numbers to try NONE of them work. I am now out $1181.81 and no booking. I can not believe how terrible the customer service has been and the run around I have been given. Avoid this website at all costs

Tickets to Usher show bought 2 months prior, got to vegas spent 10hrs emailing and calling ticketmaster and ticketsatwork. The link the 3rd party ticket supplier they use sent kept telling me tickets where transferred already and i never got the tickets. They couldnt even provide me with the email they sent the tickets to. Couldnt provide a ticketmaster confirmation number so ticketmaster could locate the tickets. Couldnt provide the 3rd party supplier contact information. Told me to call ticket master and have me a phone number that is not in service for ticketmaster. Complete disaster, i asked for refund and they refused. 800 dollars for my wifes anniversary gift and nothing. I had to purchase 2 additional tickets from stubhub ( which where cheaper and better seats) to add insult when i looked at the seats we had somebody was sitting in them. Scam! Scam! Scam! I reported to consumer afffairs i will tel every police and fire service to never use ticketsatwork. I was told go to the box office but HELLO vegas MGM doesnt have a boxoffice ticketmaster is all online. Complete disaster. The worst experience ill spend my days letting people know never to trust ticketsatwork. I have all emails as proof

I (Canadian) bought tickets to Universal Studios before the pandemic. Universal kept saying ticket dates were extended, so I wasn't worried. We finally booked our trip for April 2022. I called Universal to make sure that the tickets were still valid. They told me that because we had bought them through a third-party (Tickets at Work), I should check with them. I called and Tickets at Work said the ticket end-date was only extended to December 2020 and they were expired and there was nothing they could do. I told them that Universal had extended the use dates to May 1st, 2022 and argued that the borders were closed still in December 2020 and we could not even have gone at that time. The person was super unhelpful and said he would bring it up to his manager. Got an email 10 mins later saying, nope, nothing they could do. Called Universal Studios back and they said that because they were "Will Call" tickets, I could just go to the "Will Call" desk and pay the difference in price (because the ticket end-date was May 1st) and they would give me valid tickets and extend the dates for us. So I did - and got an extra day on our tickets for a total of $25 for six people because they had a promotion on. Thanks for nothing, Tickets at Work; will never, ever buy from you again. Universal Studios, on the other hand, nothing but two thumbs up for you!

I reserved a rental car through this program and I asked prior to completing the reservation if I needed a credit card and the representative told me no. He said that I could use a debit card and he completed the reservation, sent me reservation confirmation and everything. I received an email confirmation of payment from TicketsAtWork as well as a separate email with the rental reservation. I arrived at the place of business to pick up the rental and after waiting almost an hour to get the car, I was told I couldn't get the car because I didn't have a credit card. Mind you I paid in advance and was told by TicketsAtWork that I didn't need a credit card. So I called TicketsAtWork and they said because I canceled within 48 hours that I could not receive a refund. I explained that I was not cancelling because I no longer needed the reservation but because the company that they made the reservation with would not allow me to pick up the vehicle because I didn't have a credit card. And besides all of that, there was no way I could cancel within 48 hours when it was a same day reservation and pickup. They submitted a ticket to their "third party" associates "hoping they would do the right thing" and issue me a refund but of course they didn't. They went on to state in the ticket reply that I could use a debit card and that I would just have to pay a deposit, which is not true. TicketsAtWork need to be more informed about the policies of the companies they are contracting with and their rental regulations. This is definitely a lesson learned for me and I hope this is helpful in preventing someone else from having the same encounter.

What is the company doing concerning all the Disneyland passes purchased prior to COVID-19 and the parks closing? I purchased four Disneyland passes in 2019 Christmas for gifts for my son, daughter in law, granddaughter, and myself. We had planned to use them for the Spring/Summer 2020 and then Covid hit. Those funds were collected by Tickets at Work and possibly transferred to Disneyland, however I am out a thousand dollars in passes. I called tickets at work in April of 2021 and they said the passes where expired and could not issue a refund even through the Disneyland was closed but Main Street open. As Disneyland Opened to only California residents in 2021, no help still. They said I'd have to reach out to Disneyland. I did that as Disney had extended the expiration dates to the end of 2021 at which at that time I purchased Sea World tickets through tickets at work on Black Friday 2021, and we planned our trip. Guess what? We all started getting sick one way or another and unable to go. Disneyland passes had officially expired, and Sea World were getting closer April 2022. With kids going back to school again, you can imagine the germs that where going around and eventually the Sea World passes expired. Fortunately Disneyland passes "never expire" but you have to buy new passes and then send the original ones with proof of purchases to Disney and they issue you a credit in the form of a gift card. Sea World San Diego does not do this so you are referred back to the third party and they do nothing but, tell you can't get a refund because the tickets are expired and they says so. So, basically you are getting ripped off with third party. Is the discounts worth it? Both Sea World and Disneyland honor their own passes whole heartedly. Here's the thing and question I have? How is Tickets at Work making money if they are cheaper then the original park tickets? I'm guessing with as much money as they collect and passes through their business knowing the passes say, "No rain checks, refunds, or exchanges." This expiration date is bogus to Tickets at Work because, they do nothing after they have collected your money. Their sales are final! Someone is eating it, and it's usually the consumer.

Refused a refund
March 8, 2023

I reserved a car a month out, and when I arrived to pick up my car from thrifty, thrifty told me that they don't take my visa, even though it was the same card I used to reserve and it had enough to cover the deposit. They sent me away and told me I had to deal with tickets at work to get my refund of $340. I called tickets at work and they said that I would have to deal with thrifty to get my refund. Many many calls back and forth to both thrifty and tickets at work, thrifty finally was able to cancel my reservation and authorize a refund, and yet I'm still getting emails that they have not been able to resolve my situation. So they took my money, I didn't get a rental thru no fault of my own, and they seem to be giving me the runaround until I give up. Will never use this site again and will recommend everyone avoid it at all costs.

Steer clear
March 6, 2023

The blackout dates were not listed accurately. The site used a symbol between dates that did not clearly indicate the dates the ski mountain has as their Holiday dates. When I arrived to learn that the voucher was not going to be accepted, I needed to buy all new tickets at full price as my Family was waiting to enter.
Figured it would be resolved quickly with tickets at work and they said no refunds. This is your chance to move onto another site or make a right choice to completely avoid this fraudulent company. Customer service like this does not last long and in time, customers will make the final decision to their future. Based on the overwhelming negative reviews, I should have checked here first. Hope this helps you look elsewhere. I'm shocked at how many other people have found issues with customer service here.
