Avoid

Avoid three at all cost been a loyal customer of ten years. Paid on time every month won't let me upgrade saying there is a fraud issue even though I last security. Promised a new phone out 4 times and cancelled each time. Now they refuse to give me my PAC code so I can't take my number elsewhere

Waste of time

They claimed that they deliverd the mifi device I purchased. But they didn't. It was really hard to contact them afterwards. After they sent me a device with a wrong sim.
After everything I went to the store where they didn't even apologise. I had to wait for a long time to get it done.

Thieves

After a two years contract, I needed to cancel my contract as Three do not offer good rates outside the UK. So, I lost my sim and could not get from a Three customer service representative my PAC code to transfer my number to another network. My contract ended in June 2022. My last payment to Three was made in August 2022 by direct debit £37.16, so I had to cancel my direct debit towards them. I was paying for nothing... As a result, Three came up in October with a charge of £79,33.

Never again

I wanted to keep old Three number instead of new one.Every time I call costumer service they keep telling me it will be done by 48h and it's a week now.
In the end my old number was totally disconnected instead of switching.
At the same time was taken£500 deposit and £70 monthly payment for a phone and sim contract.
It doesn't worth even a penny!

Opened an account in July when visiting a Three mobile shop in London after telling the assistant I only wanted to use my mobile in the UK for two months while on holiday from Australia. He wrote on the contract a phone number to call after a month to cancel it. I phoned to cancel it in August but now in November I am still being billed because they have not closed the account and email to request more and more, threatening to damage my credit rating if I do not pay. I have paid £144 so far for those two months sim-only mobile phone use.

Avoid like diabetes

Well three has got to be the worst network I've ever had the pleasure of using, got a mifi box meant to be able to have 10 things connected to it have 2 and it don't work right and as for calling to sort issues out lol your calling India which is stupid when they can't understand what your saying to them. I wouldn't give a star and I know I won't be renewing my contract with them once it's all done with.

I have been 3 customer for 15 years. The old sim I cancelled a year previously wasn't cancelled there end. Got a threatening text and paid outstanding amount 30. 09. 22 through their web chat/call centre link. Payment bodged there end and they sent another threatening text.

Called them again 10. 10. 22, paid again, terrible customer service and she didn't understand what I was saying although admitted they had a record of my previous contact 10. 10. 22.

Received threatening email from Debt collection agency 11. 10. 22 even though everything paid up.
Sent complaints email to 3 about how terrible they are. Debt agency were great, advised everything paid and closed but this will remain on my record FOR THE NEXT 6YEARS due to 3's incompetance.

Anyone thinking of going with 3... don't!

Awful company, overpriced and total lack of customer service.

Diabolical coverage

I was with 3 for seven years they were originally very good low price tariffs and decent coverage. Now the coverage is average to low in many places in London London been such a hub for everything you would've thought that 3 would up again in London but it is actually bad trying to run a business through a hotspot with no coverage is impossible. Although the customer service is in India I would say that people are very friendly and do try and help they have a impossible task offering good customer service for such a lousy company. I wish there was zero stars as I would give it zero.

Lost phone number

My wife signed a contract with them and they asked for a STAC number. When the contract ends with the old provider, we notice the number didn't port to THREE. We called them and lost a few hours trying to solve their mistake. They are saying they need a PAC number.
We contacted the old provider again to ask for a PAC number, but because they used the STAC number, we lost the number. They didn't do their work, and they caused loss to us. We will avoid them from now, cheap price is a trap.

I completed the form to leave, told I had to use a transfer number to go to a different provider but was offered NO OPTION for my case, which was that I was leaving the UK so I wasn't going to switch to a different provider. After a month, started trying to charge me the monthly amount, I didn't pay it. Got sent to a debt collecting agency, my phone number got blocked. This whole thing made it impossible for me to get in touch with the customer service center, because i could not phone the UK anymore cause the number was BLOCKED. Tried a few times through the online chat (the people working there were wonderful though, the only positive thing). Because I couldn't remember my postcode, they couldn't help me. Kept getting charged the monthly account until I got sent AGAIN to another debt collecting agency, but this one gave me the chance to finally cancel my contract. Complete disgrace. It shouldn't be this hard to leave a phone provider, especially for something as simple as having to leave the country. I am beyond disappointed.

When you cancel your contract, no one should be expected to receive such harassment and intimidation as to get passed on to a debt collecting agency. And to then have to pay EXTRA FEES to be able to cancel your contract a second time so that you're not put on a debt list for 25 pounds. DISGRACEFUL.

By the way, all the debt fees have been PAID for all these months that I did not use not even one single time my number because it was BLOCKED.

LIARS, AVOID

Totally unprofessional customer service, in fact useless. Liars, liars and liars.
Lost a phone, as it was insured I've logged a claim.
Supplied all paperwork to my insurance company, apart from last one-proof of use.
Sent request to Three.
Supposed to be 72h, it was 244h and
Reminded them 3 times in the meantime, finally they sent me one. I've passed it to insurance company and when they tried to validate it, Three said its FALSE. I've been named a fraudster by insurance company, "brains" from Three sent me another 3 proof of usage documents (each with different dates, even from period I didn't bought a phone yet :D) and offered £15.
They don't see a problem and play stupid each time you speak with them.
Case is now escalated to Financial Ombudsman and probably will end up in court.
Great network but only if you don't need to contact them...
AVOID LIKE A PLAQUE

I had an issue with the promotional deal not being applied after the 45ish days they said it would,
I got in touch with them and they sorted it out there and then the guy on the phone was so helpful to me that I felt the need to write this review to show that they are not all negative and its 5 star's from me.

I have been a customer of Three for 9 years. Been living abroad in the past years, but keep paying my monthly 10£ for just in case traveling free roaming package they used to have… came to UK few weeks ago. And was not able to use my data. From Dover to Ascot to Donington festival where the phone was completely out of network for 5 days. To be in full center London, waterloo train station to Oxford road and not been able to send a Pic via iMessage or load a map or open a page. Spent 45 on the phone with CS and useless. Went to EE popped in a new SIM card and problems solved… in few months when I plan expires. Guess who will get a new customer EE that is!

They lying to customers, don't use this company, you gone overpay. Had contract and at the end they offer me new 7£ pounds per month, sounds good, but in real they starts charge me 19£ and for cancellation now i havve to pay 60.30£ Worst company what i ever used before.
Signal is bad in most part off uk.

I've been with Three for well over 15 years, (with a 18 month gap with Vodafone.

Signal has been pretty rubbish from November last year. The last two weeks, I've not even been able to receive calls or access apps without been connect to wifi. It got that bad, I had to leave a full trolly of shopping behind at Aldi, because I had "No connection" and was therefore unable to log into my banking app and transfer money onto my card.

Despite spending 45 minutes on the phone to Three, my signal has not got better. After requesting to cancel today, they want £158.00 - How is that fair when THREE are not keeping up with their side of the contract.

I'm paying £37.00 a month for a contract that does not work.

The earliest I can leave without in-curing costs is 18/09/22.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! There's a reason why they are cheaper than the other major networks.

Absolutely a sham of a company provide poor signal advise me to move to another company as they cannot provide the service I require after only being with them for 6 weeks and always had an issue from day one.
Now have debt collection agent sending me a letter trying to recover nearly £800 call three customer service always end up in an Indian help line and always told I they cannot access my details call back with correct details I suggest three call me asap before I write a complaint to trading standards about this.

Had a mobile contract with them 2 years ago when it finished I went with someone else it took me 4 weeks to get rid of them and get my pac number from them after numerous telephone live chats I ended everything with them last week I checked my bank statements to find that they have still been taking taking my dd My fault should of check the statements I know anyway I called the bank to cancel and they gave me a refund of £349 tonight I get a email from three saying that I owe them £349 and they are sending debt collectors to me as I haven't paid my bill! Slightly strange as this is the first email I've had from them in two years! And a week after I've cancel my direct debit? If anything they owe me money! I'm shocked that it's took 2 years to contact me if they think I owe them money and one email threatening debt collectors I'm in the middle of the battle with them and being passed from pillar to post and waiting in que after que trying to sorting this out two years after I cancelled my contract if you google it you find 100 of 3 customers all has similar experience with this shambles of a company there customer service is shocking they lie constantly I will advise how I get on I find all this so unsettling and upsetting and I'm not letting them get away with the way I've been treated I shall keep you posted! But please please If your thinking of going with 3 mobile don't like me you will end up regretting it years later! Someone seriously needs to be held accountable for this company's actions
