Three is a scam company. I will never be recommending you to anybody and I wish I'd never joined. I've not been able to properly use my iPhone and receive calls and texts that aren't through iMessage for over a month now because my old mobile number with Vodafone that I wanted to keep was not successfully switched over to my new Three SIM card. It turns out that Three made the mistake of switching over my old mobile number to my new Three broadband SIM card instead. I've just received a new SIM card today - after the previous SIM card never showed up - and guess what?! It doesn't work! The old mobile number still isn't showing up in my phone. I've tried turning iMessage on and off, turning my phone on and off, resetting my network settings, etc. and *nothing* is working. I can't enter the old mobile number that I wanted to keep into my phone, either, because it isn't receiving texts that aren't through iMessage, let alone no calls. Three has royally screwed up.

The live chat agents all suck and recommend me to do the same exact thing over and over again when I said I already have tried that procedure multiple times. They then try to push that exact procedure on me and never solve the issue.

What could have been a very easy fix has now turned into a huge pile of problems.

I'm past my wit's end and quite frankly, I don't see an end in sight to this issue which clearly is not on my end.

I sent in a complaint about 3 weeks ago and have yet to hear back. Three of course says they aim to reply within 14 days but I know by now that that's a joke. Going to have to go to the Ombudsman if this is unresolved after 8 weeks. You have another month to get your act together, Three.

People had mentioned to me about 3s awful customer service and that was the reason they left for another network but I used to think all mobile companies where the same I was wrong. After finding out they had been billing me for a service I never used and they had set up in error I gave them a call I was bounced around from different departments with no one apparently able to help anyway long story short they seem to have no morels when it comes to taking your money for a service you've never used and as for communicating with their staff good luck I hope you never have to find out what I mean by that. Stay clear!

Three is a scam! I got a contract with fonehouse and neither company's are helping me retrieve my handset. They have charged me for a contract I have not used 1 minute of and they are robbing me for my money. None of them are helping me and have scammed me. All that was done a DPD investigation and apparently cctv shows my handset getting packed. So why don't I have my handset or sim and using it because I have Been scammed and robbed.

I had a phone contract with 3 for my son. He decided to get his own now. 3 said we couldn't transfer the contract to him ( I had one for him for YEARS). He'd have to set up a new contract and I'd have to cancel this one. So I cancelled it in November. I stopped my DD. They sent me a demand for 42 quid which I ignored...til they sent it to a debt collection. So I paid it in March. I thought maybe it was the cancellation period and I couldn't get hold of anyone to query it. They then sent me another demand from the debt collection for 21.37. So I went on line for hours today. They hasn't cancelled the contract...but they'd do that now but charge me a month's contract...when I've already paid over 42 quid for nothing! So I managed to get them to cancel the contract and waive the months fee. But they won't waive the 21.37 they say I owe them because THEY didn't cancel my contract when I asked them to. If you look on trust pilot or any other review place they are regularly accussed by customers of failing to cancel when requested and racking up fees that most customers pay rather than go to court.

I bought a SIM card at the Heathrow airport and didn't get any service basically my whole trip. It's the worst SIM card plan I have ever bought. I had to chance wifi on the streets everyday. I called 3 and they direct me to chat online, which I couldn't do because I had no service because of them. I managed to chat with someone and was no use and no help. The WORST purchase ever made. DO not buy anything with them. Waste of money, time and energy. TERRIBLE.

Dealing with 3 has been painful, you get Nowhere...I have spent a total of 3 hours on online chat since 14th April just to get a new SIM card...i.d mobile provided me a 2nd SIM on same date I ordered this one with 3 and i.d have been perfect...avoid

I received a phone that was not mine, asked to send it back cost £7.65. My new has not arrived told Monday then Wednesday then Tuesday, then Monday again never came, they have also taken £30 out of my account when I phoned them they kept hanging up. So thats £37.65 still know phone

Forced deals

I have had a couple of very bad experiences with Three Mobile and the last one has just left a bad taste in my mouth. Firstly I was offered a phone deal in 2020 but ended up getting into a similar contract that I didn't ask for. I was told the sim contract would improve my credit rating to get a phone but I refused and returned the sim pack as requested. This year the same thing happened but this time they sent a MiFi and another Sim pack without a phone. I complained and told them I wanted to return the staff and cancel the contract if there was no phone. They sent me a paid post mail to send back the items. However, they continued to attempt to get the money out of my account but I made a stop. They have since reported to CRS to get money for me that I don't even owe them. I wouldn't encourage anyone to trust them on these deals from my experience.

I had an issue regarding my account and was promised a £5 credit was to be applied to my account, after contacting three several times to get this sorted and be reassured "I Will surely sort this for you" everytime and being told every time that it was done, it was never done. I have wasted so much of my time trying to rectify an issue Three said would be sorted at first point of contact, after this i am leaving Three and paying three months line rental just to leave them, i will never use them and would urge anyone thinking of using them to go elsewhere, (signal is pretty bad as well). Even when i stated basically what i am listing here to the last agent i contacted, nothing was done to leave me in anyway confident that Three would fix this or even care, i myself work in customer service and would be ashamed and embarrassed to be any part of an interaction like this.

My internet has been down for nearly three weeks due to maintenance. According to Three, they can't access the masts and cannot give me a date for when it'll be fixed. So in the meantime I get to keep using my hotspot.
They offered refunds once I asked (they tried to offer me £2 at first). At this point they are saying if it's out for another week I can leave my contract without a fee.
Absolutely ridiculous.

Mislead to take up a contract with Three a UK network provider which now appears today that there's no such. I wanted a contract that to make international calls but I was made to sign a contract of £24 a month which doesn't even include the international calls. Their customer service is terrible I started with them 10:39am and I just cut the call now after 13:00. I have canceled the contract immediately. I am so annoyed. Stay away from these people you'll hassle.

So this is the story of how my wife's life got flipped turned upside down.

It all started with charging her for a phone she had paid off, and now we are dealing with a dept collector for a phone that is paid off. So they lost her payment from incompetency.

Then on her new contract, she had a tablet and a phone contract when they seemed to lost all details of her having said tablet, but were still charging her for her even saying she had missed payments ( I am the one covering the bills in the house hold and I can tell you right now she has never missed a payment)

And the cherry on the mud pie she asked to reduce her data to save money they said they can only put her on a more expensive deal... that's is the peak of unethical business practices

I can not stress this enough these people don't care about you they just want you to pay as much as possible for a sub par service and for a connection that basically doesn't exists in most places. Do not go to them for your next phone

If I can give 3 no stars I would! Absolutely shocking service, I have paid £576 for a device that hasn't worked at all and all they can reimburse me is £5! I am absolutely disgusted with this and will never be returning! 3 sort it out! Money grabbing thats all it is!

Do not take insurance with this company or the so called 3rd party they use square trade insurance absolutely appealing service! Stay clear avoid just check out all the bad reviews yourself Square trade insurance.

Waited over a week for a replacement phone which they don't have available it's the Fold 4 raised several complaints now been offered full refund minus the excess fee £100 which I have to wait further 5 days so nearly 2 weeks plus I have to pay extra to buy new phone!

Appaling service! Fuming I run my business with my phone!

It is not possible to add credit or buy data using non-UK address. If you buy a SIM card without credit - you cannot add more as the form will reject non-UK postal code. Calls to numbers on the site do not go through if using another phone.

Worst phone company you will ever encounter

Please, do yourself a favour and save yourself some major stress and go with a different provider. They are capable of anything to get as much money from customers, including charging you twice for bills, that will take you months to fight, and when they finally budge and give you a rightful refund, they would send you to debt collection for the refund you have just received. I have had this going for almost two years and still have debt collection on the case, which affects my credit records. Unbelievable how bad they are, no wonder all the reviews sites give them the worst scores.

Shocking network

Avoid this network at all cost I claim benefits and my appointment is over the phone now for the last 4 weeks no one can call or txt me so job center stopped my money as they couldn't reach me and all I get on live chat with three is we are dealing with it and will be resolved soon it's been 4 weeks how long is soon for three avoid trust this network causes nothing but stress to your life 0 stars from me but can't select this option

Automatically upgraded my contract to one 2x the money, trying to cancel is a nightmare and before you no it they added another month on was originally paying £16pm then they made it £28pm trying to cancel cost me another £23 for a service i never used eventually after 4 months getting nowhere paid them £51 just to put an end to this horror, forget chat ( spent several hours waste of time even threatened me at one point) if you go to 3 shop even they have to use chat, that was 3 hours wasted i pity the staff, phoning forget it. So glad that its over. Do yourself a favor find another provider.
