No rhyme or reason to what they did or didn't accept. Did they actually put a mint condition Christian Dior bag in a donate pile? I kind of feel like it's a bit shady. I will still use it to clear out my closet, but if you actually have something valuable it's not worth it.
I sent three bags in which was about $2000 worth of clothes I only got about $37 worth while you guys sold my clothes for more than $37. I decide to leave the other bag full of clothes in my closet.
I really love the idea of ThredUP but am not quite sure I agree with the buying price strategy. Although business margins are important, this seems a tad bit extreme and a little disappointing.
Costs to buy are just OK, but nothing you can't find at a discount store (TJ Maxx, Belk, etc.).

Clothing actually looks better than anticipated; descriptions are accurate and I get my orders very quickly. I don't shop new any longer.
Love the products and when i sent my clean up bag in got money back which i spent promptly on more stuff. Lots of fun
I enjoyed browsing the clothes on thredup and refreshing my wardrobe at a great price. Particularly since I am petite, it's often hard to find my sizes at second hand or discount shops in person. And I can shop for my toddler who outgrows sizes every few months!

It's very satisfying to find brands I'm already familiar with at great prices. Each of my purchases arrived in excellent condition. I enjoy thrifting locally, but Thredup is so convenient and allows me to search more specifically for exactly what I need. I'm new to the site, but I plan to do most of my clothes shopping here from now on.

First, there is no point going through the trouble of filling a bag if you get only three bucks out of the deal but thredup still profits from the clothes they mysteriously decide not to use. Feels like a ripoff. I would rather give them to friends or donate to charity. I mean, i have since read reviews from people who got ripped off on veey high end products so i am glad i decided to send only less expensive articles to test the waters. Who asks for plus sized clothes and then turns down lane bryant? Seriously? Second, takes way too long to process. Third, why no menswear on the site? I am just disgusted. There are better alternatives out there for both buying and selling.
Decided to donate items rather than shipping them back. Perhaps my expectations for this shipment were too high.
