First time calling the realreal I had a great experience. Ms. Banks was very understanding when I contacted the customer service center. She looked into my order and resolved the situation. I will recommend this store to my co-workers and family, Ms. Banks was excellent. I will be making future orders with the real real, knowing that customer service will be there if any assistance is needed.
Thank you REAL REAL for hiring such great staff.

I called to report an error -- my package was delivered to the wrong apartment building, and FedEx delivered it to me several weeks after I'd already received a refund for no delivery. I was surprised and happy to hear that my honesty was rewarded. Jamillah's decision to give me an account credit was great validation in my decision to call and correct the problem. Thank you!

I live in Canada, I bought a Stella Mccartney bag, unfortunately, I had to pay the customs tax but what I bought is the same as the pictures and the description... I'm happy with my choice. My purse is in excellent condition but I think used, the price was really good too!... thanks, thanks! Thanks

I was very apprehensive about buying second hand luxury items but I took a chance and purchased two items; one pair of hunter boots and a Louis Vuitton card holder. Both were authentic, phew! The boots were not quite in the "excellent" condition listed and I sent pictures to the customer service rep when I called. They were willing to accept the return with no return shipping fee charged to me but I asked if they would be willing to simply adjust the price to match like condition boots they had listed/sold. They did. Next, I changed my mind about the card holder... it just wasn't quite right for what I wanted and I requested a return authorization. No problems at all. I sent the card holder back and a refund was issued a few days later (after re-authenticating... totally reasonable). So that's my experience and why I say so far so good. I would recommend giving them a shot.

I am (or rather WAS) a loyal client of this site, purchasing several items every 2-3 months. Almost 2 months ago, the RealReal made an error on the commercial invoice of my package, which gravely overvalued the items I purchased and resulted in my overpaying $72.50 in customs and duties. I spoke to UPS, and they only needed to receive an amended commercial invoice from the vendor to refund me the overpayment. The RealReal, however, will not oblige to correct their own mistake (which cost ME)! I explained the situation and provided them with all their own documentation. After spending hours on hold and writing several follow-up e-mails (never receiving a reply without prompting them a month later), all they can say is that "they cannot provide a new commercial invoice", even when the error was their own! I am so disappointed (and $72.50 lighter)!

Excellent, representative and terrific at what she does. Alex handled a problem for me and never dropped the ball as everyone else did. I had clothes sitting there and a Chanel dress got loss and it took many months to resolve and have them pay for it! Also working on increasing pricing after sitting 3 months.

A NIGHTMARE FOR SELLERS!

If you are looking for a seamless consignment experience, than this is not it!

I have placed countless items from handbags to jewelry to clothing on consignment with TRR for the last few months.

My items have been marked down significantly without my knowledge and sold before I was given the option of having them returned to me. For example, a MIU MIU handbag that I purchased for $2500 the month prior to consigning it, was originally marked at $1595 and then got marked down to $875 plus 20% off unbeknownst to me. I spent over four hours trying to get a price adjustment for the TRR's deception.

BEWARE AND CHECK YOUR "MY SALES'" PAGE EVERYDAY FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION!

Also be very aware that your items will be priced incredibly inconsistently! For example, I placed a Stella McCartney skirt on sale and it was priced at $345. I recently consigned the exact same skirt, but different pattern, and it was priced at $90. This is just one of SEVERAL items that have been inconsistently priced. You would truly do much better at Crossroads!

Several of my items have been photographed incorrectly. For example, a jacket that is leather on the outside, was photographed inside out with the lining showing as the outside. There was no leather shown in the photos or in the description.

I pleaded with TRR to please photograph /describe the item correctly only to be met with a complete lack of interest. This has happened with several items and I have subsequently had to request a return of the items. It has been over a month and I have still have not received any of the items back!

Indeed, the photography is generally pretty horrible and many items get returned because TRR is not currently capable of keeping up with demand and they take horrible and inaccurate photos.

If you want to sell quickly, then TRR is definitely not the right place! If you are lucky, then your items may finally go on sale a month after they are received by TRR. Most likely' however, it will be 6-8 weeks.

TRR is not capable of meeting demand and should, in fairness, STOP TAKING CONSIGNMENTS, until they are capable of handling them properly.

And although you, the Consignor, are TRR's bread and butter, you will be taken for granted.

Very disappointed to receive the item after waiting a week for shipping only to learn that they had listed it incorrectly and it didn't fit. Were it not for Jamilla I would not be leaving a four star review. She took care of me right away and issued a shipping label for the return of the bracelet that was advertised size 70 but was not. Know your size, (which I did) but then read the MEASUREMENTS of the bracelet as well as the "size" listed. There is at least one listed right now with the wrong size in consideration of the measurements. Beware!
