Paid $900 for a couch online back in August 2020. Here we are March 13 2021 and still waiting. Keep getting the run around and the date keeps getting bumped. All they tell me is I can come in and pick something else out. I want the one I ordered. I will never order from this company ever again. 7 months and counting is totally unacceptable. Has nothing to do with covid because other companies seem to ship stuff no problem.
They lie in warranty they lie on customer service. Have ro fight when extended warranty is paid... the brick is total bull$#*! I spent thousands and absolute zero customer satisfaction after you purchase
We recently purchased 6 appliances from The Brick, when they delivered our appliances the delivery team scratched the side of our new fridge.
They said nothing about it, placed the fridge and they were lucky as the scratch did not protrude from where the fridge was placed in our kitchen.
Next our washing machine broke down, even after purchasing their extra warranty, which we were told would guarantee prompt service and speedy repair. Well apparently prompt service is to wait 3 days for a service technician to come out, diagnose the problem then give you an estimate of when they will return to repair the problem. Which he said was a common occurrence on these Samsung washers. So The Brick knew there were issues with the product.
In our case it seems you cannot get a washer repaired in less than 3 weeks.
No offers of a temporary replacement nothing to help anyone out, other than to bad.
I then called the Duncan BC store where we purchased the products and I spoke with Jim. He laughed shrugged me off and said it is what it is, nothing I can do about it. Then bragged that some people are waiting 3 to 4 months for repairs. I think that is ludicrous.
Long story short, their delivery people will hide their mistakes, their sales department will sell you faulty appliances and encourage you to spend extra money on a warranty the don't honour, then laugh at you when they break down.
Please do not shop at these stores.
We ordered our appliances months ago as we were at the time building a new house and got an appliance package through our builders for $5000. Abdullah assisted us with picking out appliances and confirmed they would be here on time for us on March 2nd on multiple occasions. Even 2 weeks up to our possession in an email he confirmed appliances would be delivered March 2nd. March 2nd roles around and we've heard nothing so I contact Abdullah. Abdullah then informs us he didn't realize our address (which he got months ago) was outside the city and the absolute earliest we would get them would be Friday... many times we called the brick to speak with the manager of the sales department Mark Maxwell and no return of call. I found his email online and sent him an email expressing our frustration where he confirmed he would call me to discuss the situation further however no phone call happened. I contacted customer service to express my frustrations and they inform half of our appliances aren't even ready till the end of March! Not once did anyone say anything about any sort of delays! No communication or accountability. Still no one was doing anything for us. So I contacted the builders, Ventura (who send them a ton of customers) and they had me write up a detailed summary of the events that took place and provide the emails where Abdullah confirmed the delivery date of March 2nd. It had to go all the way to the top by Ventura for anyone to listen to us or return our calls! So now they are supposedly delivering us our appliances with some loaners today... Abdullah has made this whole experiences just terrible, I wouldn't recommend using him for anything, he's incompetent and made 1000 excuses. Overall TERRIBLE experience with the Brick. We are cancelling our sectional and taking our business else where. We will never give the brick another cent of our money. Also how bad is this that customer service even said how terrible the Winnipeg branch is and that he doesn't like dealing with it. LOL WHAT A JOKE.

Delayed delivery... once delivered - broken. Promised a credit - not honouring the credit when it came to pay off the bill. Now being ignored. Terrible customer service right off the bat. Will definitely never go there again and will be urging everyone I know to do the same.
I went into the Brick to purchase a NEW box spring. I found that they had some one sale as the style was discontinued. I bought one and rented a u-haul and hired someone to help me bring it home. Upon bringing it home and removing the plastic, I found that the fabric was ripped in two places and stained.
I could have had a free box spring online from craigslist or marketplace in better condition.
Why buy anything from the Brick when it's in such terrible condition?

The Brick advertises "have it delivered " but refused to consider delivery to my rural property which is 25 minutes from their store—likely closer than some Calgary addresses! Also price on appliance (washing machine) was $300. More than other stores. When I asked salesman about this, he said their sale ticket had fallen off & their machine was the same price as other stores! Then he put "sale price" card into a plastic sleeve—didn't look possible for it to slip out?
We had a very pleasant experience at The Brick our sales person was Abdullah and he was very nice and hlepful. I would recommend him if you are interested in purchasing something from The Brick
We have had nothing but problems with this brick, delivery delays, getting double charged and now we need to get a warranty mattress because the one we bought 6 months ago is ruined. It took them 2 months to approve it after the email said 5 business days. Then after we had already bought a new bed they approved the warranty. So today we go to pick out the new mattress they don't carry the mattress anymore and made us pick out a new one that would cost more and on top of it we have to pay for delivery for the new mattress on top of paying for them to pick up the old warranty mattress! I refuse to give them another dime due to the horrible service we have received! What a total bill waste of money! I could've done a lot more then buy a piece of crap bed for $1100!
I ordered a desk in July 2020 and got it damaged still waiting on desk. I asked for my money back but want give it back. I guest once they got your money they don't care.
We returned a sofa bed because of worn material. Had to fight to get another replacement. That was Dec. Still we have no couch! We were told Jan. Then Mar. Now April! Absolute bull $#*!! We will never order from them again!
The brick at galleries D'anjou is one of the worst brick ever, the cashier look very confused like she had no idea of what she was doing, the manager name Amir or Amid should never be in charge no management skills very rude guy is an $#*! hole, if you don't have patients don't waste your time to go there, I went there to change my mattress because of a factory default when I get there it was another story they want us to pay full price a for new mattress and pay for two bags while they only giving us one mattress, I feels like I was getting scams terrible business they deserve zero stars.
The brick changed so much, customer service is terrible, when you call to ask a question you can't even understand the person on their end, you ask for someone else you get the same accent you can't understand at all, you go face to face with the staff a scruffy girl on the answering desks, her hair is not even brushed and the gum in her mouth blowing bubbles, I had to repeat myself 4 times for her to understand me, I repeated my phone number 3 times she still had it wrong, for the brick to pay half the wages for emergencies to save money they sure are losing lots of locals businesses, the last experience I had with them I was angry yelling out words for her to understand, while I was there another girl came in screaming and cursing at them for the same problem, this is my last time buying anything from the brick and I will spread the word everywhere's.
I purchased Stearns & Foster mattress
January 7th waiting on the third mattress transaction with employees are very poor let me tell you about the mattress, that I found out. If you purchased a Stearns & Foster mattress on the specifications of mattress what it comes with or made with it's not true. My experience purchasing a mattress even speaking to management sales rep they do not know what they're selling you. Because no one could give me a straight answer, so if you purchased or buying a Stearns & Foster mattress call The Brick or be worry or careful I will not recommend... i will not shop at The Brick again
I purchased a RCA 3203 TV from the brick 1.5 years ago. I was having technical difficulties hooking it up to a new digital set top box recently, and required information from a technician since the TV was not responding as it should. When I phoned the store where I had purchased it (South Winnipeg on Kenaston), the sales person was absolutely useless. All she could say was that since I had not purchased an extended warranty, their store would have no part in helping me. "We only sell the product, we do not make it" were her words. They do not have a technical team, and cannot offer any support. She brushed me off as quickly as could be. What an insult. I will NEVER buy a product from this company again, at any store!
I bought my furniture at the south common location in Edmonton, AB. After using my sofa sets for 5months the leather start fading with some discoloration, I tried to contact the location to speak to someone but the customer representative hang up the phone on me while explaining the reason for my call. I tried reaching out online to The bricks through there online messaging again and I was able to chart with someone but it was a scam. The reason was that the guy said someone will definitely give me a call back within 2-3 days but 3weeks after no call or nothing from The bricks. I have 5years warranty on all my furniture at The bricks but I guess it really not worth having it anyways because they are a scammer. I don't understand why a good company will treat their customers like this? I will never recommend The bricks to anyone because this company is a scam and not responsible to there customers after the delivery of your furniture. I bought a new furniture to have peace of mind on the wear and tear aspect but 5months later the sofa that was supposed to be real leather start fading out. I really feel have been cheated, disrespected and not valued as a customer.

I didn't even want to put that 1 star. Was on call with with them and their $#*!ing representative hung up on us after being jerk cause he couldn't respond to our question. These people really need to get rid of these type of people who can't even represent their own company in a proper manner. Absolutely disgusted with job and never again I would recommend this company to anyone. When u go to buy stuff their are going to be on us to buy the product but when you are having some type of issue or problem they are going to show the true side of them. They Just know how to take money out from people. Disgusting disgusting disgusting

Answer: They are a massive scam company. No customer service, no loyalty to their customers. Once you have paid, good luck receiving your merchandise on time, or getting replacements for the damaged goods. They lie through their teeth about timelines and promise things that never happen. They do not communicate amongst themselves, so one person will tell you one thing and the next has no idea and says it can't be done. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. Stay away!
Answer: Many furniture companies out there who are more reliable in shipping products on time. Amazon and Wayfair were good (although, I had one Wayfair order which had some damaged pieces that Wayfair has not been good at replacing).
