The Brick is the absolute worst! Horrible Customer Service and Horrible, broken and crap delivery system. If you gather the data of your customers; regular house, townhouse, condo etc. If you live in a condo you have to book the service elevator for furniture delivery bed etc. How you can you confirm a delivery date but not a delivery time only until the day before the delivery to get a time. Most condos, the elevators would have been booked a week advanced so if I call a week advance to schedule delivery at The Brick it makes sense to get a time of delivery then as well so as to book the service elevator.
That whole system is flawed as per getting the delivery time the day before because someone else would have reserved the elevator so I won't be able to get my item delivered. Additionally, the worst customer service all around. Your employees sound like they are not getting paid or eating for the whole day, all grumpy with no empathy and interest in relating to a customer. You guys need to rework your delivery system and work on improving the customer service. Based on my experience, I advise people to refrain from using The Brick as I will no longer use them. I only realized your ratings are horrible on average over several review boards after my recent purchases. THE ABSOLUTE WORST! No way to select 0 stars on this review because 1 star is a blessing! 0/5 stars for me even though it shows 1 star on this review.
Bought a brand new fridge lasted 4 month broke in the biggining of December it is now Aprile still waiting for repair man to comeback to fix fridge he won't return my call every time I call the brick they say they will get him to call me but he never does one more month and my warrenty expires and then they will no longer send repair man to fix it so I'm pretty sure there just running out the clock so the brick scamed me for a thousand dollars on a fridge that only last 4 month then lied to me and never fixed it will never shop there again
Wait times are very long for furniture (we were told 4 months and are now being told 8 months), All the while, the website says the same sofa is available within 6 weeks. We have spoken with the store. They are well aware that everything is severely backordered. It seems clear The Brick is overselling products they don't have access to, lying about the wait times so people continue buying but have no idea they will be waiting months and months for their items to come in.
I needed help with a couch I wanted and I was served by Eli on the online chat! He was amazing and was able to help me with the request I had. He was very professional and his responses were very quick! I am so happy with my service and would highly recommend!

Purchased furniture in Feb 2021 from Alicia at the brick in Brantford ontario. She was very helpful and knowledgeable, we were told the delivery would be in about 3- 4 weeks and that we would get a call the night before to confirm the delivery time frame. We were called on Mar, 23 and told that our furniture would arrive between 9am - 12 on Mar. 24, also received an email with the same information. On Mar 24 at approx, 10am, we received a call from the driver stating what he was on his way to drop off, it was the wrong items, we no sooner hung up from him when we received a call from a lady at the brick telling us that there was computer problems and that our delivery was not coming until between 3 and 4 in the afternoon that day, We explained that the time frame was no good as we had already made plans with our grandkids for the afternoon, that they can deliver it the next morning, she was very rude and told us that they only deliver to our area 1 per week, and that I had 3 choices, either take delivery after 3pm, wait until the following week, or cancel the order. I told her to deliver after 3, but was upset and called to talk to Alicia at the store, I had her cell number and called her, she was on her way to work. I explained my problem and she asked me to give her a chance to investigate and she would get back to me. Approx a half hour later she called and said that she had arranged a delivery for the next morning if that was good, and we say great thank you. The furniture arrived the next morning as promised, because of Alicias dedication to keeping her customers happy, I will definitely recommend her to all of our family and friends in the future that are interested in purchasing any furniture, thank you again Alicia
Overall the sales person we had was Alicia in Brantford, she was very helpful and very knowledgeable on the items we required, we purchased a recliner and dishwasher on Feb 26,2021, again sales person was great, then came time for delivery,,,,, received a call on Mar. 23 stating that our items would be delivered between 9:00am and 12:00pm on the 24th. Also received an email to confirm. On the 24th, at about 10:00am received a call from the driver stating that he would be at our place shortly, and he stated what he was delivering, which was not what we bought, he apologized and said he would call back to confirm, within 30 seconds we received a call from a lady named Jessica who said there was a mistake and that we would not receive the products until between 3pm and 6pm that day, which we explained was no good as we had plans for the afternoon due to the fact that they had confirmed the delivery time earlier, I asked to have it delivered the next morning and she said no. She was rude and basically told us that us that we could take delivery that day after 3:00pm or wait until the following week for delivery, or cancel our order as she had no time to worry about us as she had many other customers to call to change their delivery's, we told her to deliver as she had arranged, hung up and called Alicia at the Brantford store, explained the problem, she was on her way to work and told us to give her a chance to straighten everything out. She called back a half hour later and arranged for the next morning deliver of our items, because of her understanding and helpfulness I will be back to see her at the store for more purchases in the future and will recommend her to any of our friends that will be looking for furniture in the future. Thanks again Alicia, and The brick, please fix these delivery issues that you are having.
We've purchased a stove that had to be replaced 3 times because the service tech, after looking at the stove, said no parts are available. The stove was 3 years old, so we had to order another at extra cost to us. We got the stove and when we turned on the oven it got so hot on the outer surface that it was dangerous. We call for service, stove needs replacing, at again extra charge to us. What's the point of having a warranty if it costs us money? The frigid we purchased at the same time had dents in the door, we called for service, tech said they didn't put enough insulation in the door, six doors later there's still a dent in it? They were both LG. Now to the leather chairs we purchased, broke after 6 months, called for service, tech brought parts to repair, fine, one month later they broke again. Service tech comes, now no parts available, we have to purchase new chairs. The only problem is that we need to spend another $1000 to get similar. Again what's the point of getting extended warranty when it's going to cost to get a replacement. So we headed to the store and confronted the salesman who brought the manager, the manager said we don't refund money which at this point is what we want, at which point he turned and walked away, not resolving anything. The brick is the most useless retail store ever! Don't waste your money. Now we're stuck with broken chairs and nothing to replace them with unless we spend another $1000. I hope head office reads this and does something about it. We are extremely frustrated at this company.
Bought a fridge and oven from the Brick today. Had a great experience. My sales representative Preeti Ghatge was very professional and found me the best deal. She did her homework and saved me over 400 dollars on my sale. I would highly recommend Preeti to my friends and family for their furniture needs. Thank you again Preeti. Reserved a delivery date 2 weeks ago and on the delivery day was informed they received the order and the order would delivered 7 days later. I toke a day off waiting for delivery now I need to take another day off for delivery... sorry but wasted enough time and money. Don't waste time calling support, zero customer care you will get voice box. Stay away from brick. Cie like this need to go bankrupt!
Hi - If I could give less than one star, I would! The Brick is just about the worst place in Montreal to buy something, although a lot of my problems were with the Kirkland branch, and Leon's is not far behind because they own The Brick. The delivery date is never kept, and when they tell you 3 to 4 weeks, they really mean 3 to 4 months, and probably longer, if you get it at all! When they finally deliver what you bought 8 or 9 weeks earlier, you then have to put up with rude and ignorant Russian delivery men! I have had it with the Brick, and will never ever buy there again! Next time, I will be definately trying Brault & Martineau. Thanks
They did anything to get the sale. Lied to us about installation times by 9 days. We also spent ******* at Ashley's and were out of Ashley's an hour and a half before the brick where we spent like 4000. I'm seriously chapped at the brick. Never again
Bought a coffee table from them. And every time I received it it was damaged ( total of 3 times). They won't refund my money. Over heard another lady who bought appliances and only received half her order and now her items are Out of stock and they won't issue her a refund either. STAY AWAY FROM THE BRICK
I ordered a sofa and chair from the Brick in Huntsville. Due to the pandemic, I placed the order online without actually seeing it and unfortunately when it arrived, it was too large to fit in my condo building. I called the Brick and Jeff Ahlstedt, owner of the Huntsville store, came through for me in a big way, replacing it with an upgraded set which was delivered to me a week after the first delivery. I love my new sofa and chair and so appreciative of the lengths to which Jeff went to make this happen for me! The Brick, Huntsville is truly outstanding!
Had four delivery guys tell me that my fridge wouldn't fit into my house. The manager at the brantford location pretty much tell me that it was all my fault and the fridge wouldn't fit. Guess what we got the fridge i and it only took me and my spouse half hour to get it in my house just over the top disappointed with the brick

Don't buy extended warranty with the Brick! We bought some Samsung dishwashers with the Brick, the salesperson suggested us to buy extended warranty for 4 more years since the appliances only come with 1 year manufacture warranty. He said at the end of 5 years, if we don't need to ask for a repair, we could get the credit back to buy something else. Thinking that was a good suggestion, we went for it. As soon as the manufacture warranty expired, 3 of the Samsung dishwashers didn't work. We called the extended warranty number, found out the Brick has Trans Global take care of extended warranty, Trans Global pass it to another company called King & State Warranty company, we were put on hold for about 20 minutes, then switched to ring tone for another 10 minutes, after that the call became silence. We tried a few times, finally gave up. We then tried to send emails to King & State for the claims, no one got back to us. So disappointed! Suggestion: SAVE YOUR MONEY, DON'T BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY WITH THE BRICK AND STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG APPLIANCES.

My husband and I had a problem at the brick in niagara falls. We were ready to walk out without purchasing 2 rocker recliners. Our sales lady Pretty got her manager. Jackie the manager came over and spoke to us and did what ever she could to make us happy and keep us for future business. We walked out very happy customers and will absolutely make purchases from the brick. They care about their customers and that showed it to us. While purchasing the washing machine, he was very knowledgeable and courteous, we are happy.

Answer: Brick has worst customer service. Their service department in New Market office are extremely pathetic.
Answer: They are a massive scam company. No customer service, no loyalty to their customers. Once you have paid, good luck receiving your merchandise on time, or getting replacements for the damaged goods. They lie through their teeth about timelines and promise things that never happen. They do not communicate amongst themselves, so one person will tell you one thing and the next has no idea and says it can't be done. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. Stay away!
Answer: Many furniture companies out there who are more reliable in shipping products on time. Amazon and Wayfair were good (although, I had one Wayfair order which had some damaged pieces that Wayfair has not been good at replacing).
