I just finished dealing with the service support at Template Monster to fix a Woocommerce template I purchased, and let me tell you that they are horrible. The template that I purchased would not install properly on my GoDaddy site. I spent a week on the phone and exchanging e-mails with them and the GoDaddy folks and no one could get it up and running.
I finally requested a refund since their product failed to minimum standards of the Warranty of Implied Merchantability - and the refused! They insisted that they wanted administrator access to my site. The unfortunate issue is that I manage several other sites and under the GoDaddy model they would have had full access to all those sites as well - its just a risk that I can't take for my other sites.
You would have thought that they would test their products against one of the biggest provider of web services, but of course if they had done so they would have found the same issues. To get satisfaction I had to dispute the charge with my bank, and now I am trying to warn people to avoid these scam artists completely!
Lastly, I have contacted the Florida Attorney General to file a complaint and support them in potential criminal charges they may choose to file for fraud.
