The overall reputation of the company reflects a mix of positive and negative sentiments. Customers appreciate the convenience, product variety, and competitive pricing, particularly praising the store's layout and exclusive brands. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, with reports of long wait times, unresponsive staff, and issues with online orders and returns. Many customers express frustration over outdated products and perceived indifference from management. These trends suggest that while the company offers a strong shopping experience, substantial improvements in customer support and service reliability are needed to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

While shopping Target online, website completed an order that was in my cart, while i was still shopping. I found an email confirming a $200+ order that i never placed. I called to explain the issue and they refused to cancel the order that THEY placed on my behalf. Had to call my bank to stop payment. NEVER EVER shop Target!
I brought them in advertisement from toys r us they said they down match it
I am quitting Target after at least 20 years of patronage because of the rude associate I had to endure at the Woodhaven, Mi. Store and because of their lack of knowing how to say "thank you". I never hear a simple "thank you" when they hand me my receipt. I hear "have a nice day", "here you go", never "thank you". I purchased two decorative pillows at different times and returned one with the receipt and didn't realize until I got home that they didn't refund the receipt amount. When I went back a few days later, Mary, was so rude to me. She said they refund the least amount you paid and when I protested and showed the receipt stapled to the return amount, she said I didn't have it at the time. I told her I wasn't going to argue with her over less than $10. I wrote a letter to the CEO, Brian Cornell, about the rudeness, the wrong return amount and their lack of thanking their customers. I also sent him my last 3 statements totaling over $3000 so he would know I valued his business. I received an email from guest relations which was a standard reply about being sorry for not meeting my expectations which was full of grammar and punctuation errors which lead me to think it came from another country(I also sent him a copy of the email). I sent Mr. Cornell a second letter (marked confidential and personal thinking maybe he didn't see the first letter) expressing my disappointment in his lack of interest since I felt I was doing him a service (I would want to know what was happening if it was my business)in letting him know what happened. I enclosed my cut up Red card advising him I would be shopping in the future at Kohls, Meijer, Carson's, Macy's, Kroger and local stores since it was obvious he didn't care about my patronage. I never heard back from anyone so I guess they really don't care.
I love target they have great products and their clothes is good quality!
Good call renting out your pharmacies to CVS - that makes it very easy to get localized. FLU Shots are usually very cheap there!
They offer the same stuff everyone else does but the red card offers that 5% off which, in CA covers 1/2 the sales tax... lol
Greedy America... keeping up with the Jones... doesn't Macy's own Target... lol
I bought a pair of jeans for my bday. They told me it would arrive days before my bday. However it took an extra week ughh
Target will always be an upscale Walmart to me. Sure the prices may be more, but you get what you pay for - quality. There's always a good sale going on and the variety of products is great. I've been doing more and more of my grocery shopping there as Target is so close to my house.
Ordering from target's website is always a breeze. Even clothes, I've had products that didn't fit or I didn't like and was able to return it to the store!
Target is a bit over-priced with most of their items. I recall running low on some contact lens solution and came to target since it was closer to me. I was APPALLED at the price of the stuff but I needed it since I was on the road. This same brand of contact lens solution is actually $2 cheaper in Wal-mart. COMPARE, COMPARE, COMPARE!
They have good supply of things and honor their sales.
I placed an order at Target.com for a present to be shipped to the Crofton, MD Target store on 12/14/15.On 12/21/15 with not having received email or text message from Target, I called Target.com.
They gave me the UPS tracking# and showed it was received by the store on 12/19/15. I called the store and got the run around asking to speak with a manager. I finally got a manager. He then said he would have someone look for the order.
Surprise! They could not find the order!
He offered me a $20 gift card but that does make up for the fact that they lost my gift. Do not use Ship To Store or shop at Crofton, MD store.
I ordered one thing Dec 3rd, it is Dec 21st and I have not received it. No one seems to know where it is! Never again will I order online from Target.
The website's layout and navigation is mediocre. I honestly don't like shopping on the site all that much. The transaction process, however, is easy and straightforward. Would I recommend shopping on here? Yes, I would if you find a good deal.
Regarding my last order experience, the package was delayed by a couple weeks with no apology or reasoning from Target. I only found out because I called in to ask for an ETA.
I like coming here, it feels cleans and usually isn't to crowded.
If you have been to both you will understand. If you have only been to Walmart God help your soul.
I ordered fragrances for men n women for my family affordable prices... awesome quality. And received items very fast love target!
Target is a great place to shop but sometimes the prices are to high
Answer: Looks like Target has sent a lot of ringers here to up their ratings in the last few months. Nice try guys but your whole shopping experience is still subpar. To answer this question, IT DEPENDS on where you live and what you order. If you're right next to their warehouse, SURPRISE, it's there in a day and you think they are fantastic. If you live far away, the item is no longer in stock or they are slow to fill it, it could take six weeks. It did for us on a couple of occasions, SO it's the luck of the draw and certainly NOT better than Amazon.
Answer: Sure! A'ja; glkjadlgj 'alkd'g a'ldkg a'kl ;d ; aljdgl kajdl; kgja'dogja' ldgj'aljgd'aklg' aklgd'aldkg a'lgd
Answer: Be careful. If the item suddenly becomes unavailable that you already paid for you will have to wait 30 days for your refund.
Answer: Sometime from other sites, malware can be picked up to track your internet history. I don't think target's website would carry that!
Answer: I'm sorry. I ordered a lot from target.com and never had a problembefore, but when I finally did have a problem... hours and days on the phone. One of the service techs put me on hold for 30 minutes. Another put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up. Horrible.
Answer: I was unable to purchase a prepaid phone card with my gift card. This fact was not disclosed in the product description so I found out at the checkout when it was too late. Now am stuck with the useless gift card. I am very disappointed in Target shopping and will never buy anything from them ever again. I do not recommend Target shopping to anyone. Spare yourself some aggravation and shop elsewhere. Enough said.
