The overall reputation of the company reflects a mix of positive and negative sentiments. Customers appreciate the convenience, product variety, and competitive pricing, particularly praising the store's layout and exclusive brands. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, with reports of long wait times, unresponsive staff, and issues with online orders and returns. Many customers express frustration over outdated products and perceived indifference from management. These trends suggest that while the company offers a strong shopping experience, substantial improvements in customer support and service reliability are needed to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Yes, I bought a Donny Osmond Storage Bench. It's super nice and heavy. The fabric is heavy and it's well made. Came super fast. I just had to put on the legs.
Had a problem with my payment (could not get the website to accept my credit card), but after a quick chat with their customer service they fixed everything and were very polite and helpful.
I love how easy it is to search for items, the shopping cart feature is fast and the target selection is always the best!
Target always has great prices on hygiene items. The deal they offer when buying two or more by getting $5-$10 back is awesome.
When it comes to quality I love Target. Yes I can find the same item at other locations for less money but you do get what you pay for!
Products are excellent quality with a low price tag.
A WIDE RANGE OF ITEMS TO CHOSE FROM, AND THE DELIVERY IS FAST. WITHIN TREE BUSINESS DAYS AND IT IS AT YOUR DOOR
Target always has fresh veggies and also i buy my pet treats there. They have cheaper price than pet stores.
I csn always count on Target having high quality and unique items especially for the home. Plusbnow with the Super Centers it is so much easier to find groceries as well as sporting goods orthe toy section.
This is a very generic brand with not much to offer other than overpriced items and bland service usually
I have been choosing to shop at Target over Walmart lately b/c it is generally more pleasant and provides higher customer service. I also have a long time Redcard account w/auto shipments. Last night I made a simple purchase and wanted to be in and out, as I am having a knee issue which makes prolonged standing painful. After standing in line once, the cashier made a simple mistake and overcharged me by about $10. She recognized this, but unlike when this happens at say the grocery store, she insisted I wait in another line for returns! After doing so, and explaining that I didn't see why I had to wait in 2 lines for their mistake, and explaining my medical challenge, the 2nd cashier made no eye contact, no real apology, and mindlessly mumbled have a nice night as I walked off. Ofcourse, they don't know me personally, however I am a customer, w/other shopping options, AND some concern could be shown for how I was inconvenienced, no? BTW, the last time I shopped here the absent minded cashier knocked over my glassware purchase, which unlike all my other glassware purchases, I had to then wrap myself, and overcharged me as well.
Again I choose Target, b/c I want better service than Walmart. What is going on here?
I had ordered what looked like miniture plush care bears as a suprise to my daughter, it looked like it came with 4, only saw piture it did not explain so i took a chance.
There was only 1 big one and it wasn't even the one i wanted, very upset, this was gonna be a special gift for a special reason now it is wrecked and i wasted money, they need to give detail of what it is exactly and not just a false picture
I witessed a disturbing incident at the Gainesville, FL store. An adolescent boy and his mother were at the customer service desk with an obviously factory-sealed video game. The mom explained that the boy had asked family members for the game and had recently received two of the same title, both bought at Target. She asked if she could trade it for another game or get a store credit. The employee refused-"We don't take returns for video games, DVDs or CDs. It's our policy." The manager was (politely) called to the desk and also refused her request. I understand the policy--but I feel certain that it was intended for opened video games or DVD/CDs so they couldn't be reproduced and then returned. That wasn't the case in this instance. The poor kid and his mother quietly turned and walked out of the store holding their video game, the kid close to tears. It was handled VERY POORLY! It made a believer out of me, No more Target.
Any store that lets men use lady's restrooms isn't getting my business. That's just asking for trouble. What if a little girl is in there and some man that says he identifies as a female came in there and molested her. Where's Target then? Don't shop at Target.
Target ( I like to pronounce it as, Tarjay) is located quite close to our home so we go there often. The store is clean with spacious isles and always has a variety of lovely clothes, jewelery and accessories on display. Fitting rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable with great mirrrors. Staff are helpful. A great place to shop.
I have never been treated so poorly by any corporate office regarding a complaint. Recently I contacted Target Corporate office and spoke with Amy regarding my local South Florida Target store. My family and I have experienced several issues with pricing/advertising and mis-stocked items throughout this store. It is frustrating and inconvenient to have to visit Guest Relations for price adjustments due to employee error. When I voiced this ongoing issue to the Team Leader, he did not care. I emailed Guest Relations and was assured that my concerns would be addressed by store management; they were not. When I escalated my concerns to Target Corporate office, I was assisted by Amy. She lacks professionalism, courtesy, and sympathy. She has NO business dealing with customer complaints. She had the audacity to leave a voice mail that stated that all my concerns were addressed when I emailed Guest Relations. It is obvious my concerns have been disregarded all along. This is evident due to the corporate executive aloof attitude regarding customer satisfaction and loyalty. Target has lost my business. No wonder Team Leaders do nothing to improve issues within their stores; corporate office does not care at all. Word of mouth advertising is a powerful thing. I will share my negative experience with all my family and friends.
I ordered some items fairly recently and they were supposed to take out money from my debit account the same day. I looked into my checking account 2 weeks after my purchase from Target. Target took out $20 from my account. I asked my bank about it and they said Target didn't take out the money from my account at the time of purchase. I purchased other items and they took the money then... not 2 weeks later. I called Target and kept getting different answers such as an authorization hold then recanted and said it was an error. I am still mad at this because I was low on money and that extra $20 in my account meant food and litter for my 2 cats. I have kept their email stating when they took it out. My bank tells me to talk to someone on the phone... huh?!?! I'm at my branch... why can't you ppl help me. I can barely understand these foreigners they hire for lower wages. It's not the amount that bothers me... it is the attitude toward the whole incident. I am not rich and my bank should have dealt with it as I was already physically there. I didn't like being told to call them when someone was there. I don't know if this is truly Target's fault but I do know that between them and my bank... they're both lying. Just watch your debit/credit statements from Target.
Price u see on line isn't always what u r charged and they claim Cartwheel is except it on site but I haven't gotten money back from any item yet
Answer: Looks like Target has sent a lot of ringers here to up their ratings in the last few months. Nice try guys but your whole shopping experience is still subpar. To answer this question, IT DEPENDS on where you live and what you order. If you're right next to their warehouse, SURPRISE, it's there in a day and you think they are fantastic. If you live far away, the item is no longer in stock or they are slow to fill it, it could take six weeks. It did for us on a couple of occasions, SO it's the luck of the draw and certainly NOT better than Amazon.
Answer: Be careful. If the item suddenly becomes unavailable that you already paid for you will have to wait 30 days for your refund.
Answer: Sometime from other sites, malware can be picked up to track your internet history. I don't think target's website would carry that!
Answer: I'm sorry. I ordered a lot from target.com and never had a problembefore, but when I finally did have a problem... hours and days on the phone. One of the service techs put me on hold for 30 minutes. Another put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up. Horrible.
Answer: I was unable to purchase a prepaid phone card with my gift card. This fact was not disclosed in the product description so I found out at the checkout when it was too late. Now am stuck with the useless gift card. I am very disappointed in Target shopping and will never buy anything from them ever again. I do not recommend Target shopping to anyone. Spare yourself some aggravation and shop elsewhere. Enough said.
